Chaptwr 43 Goodbye Twins

Now sheps POV.

Shep was sitting under the tree. It was a cloudy day after all, but there was no need for shade. Yet shep found himself under the tree. Teeny and angora made their way to shep.

Teeny: hey, shep, how are you feeling?

Angora: are you okay, shep? You see a little blue.

Shep: oh, I'm okay. It was hard to say goodbye really. Chloe and Zoey were a big part of horseland, but I can't believe they had to move. They weren't he kindest of twins, but they had respect for the art of riding their horses.

Teeny: I miss chilly and pepper already. At least they can go to France and enjoy their new lives there with Chloe and Zoey.

Angora: shep, we should recap about it a little bit. Horseland is going to feel a little different without those twins around.

Shep: I know that, teeny. It's hard for some people to cope with the fact that the ones they know have to leave. Shall we recap on what happened?

Earlier that day.

You were brushing zod as shadowfax was eating some oats. He was old enough to eat pats despite him still being small, but he needed more energy.

Y/N. That's a good boy, you need your strength. Your kid is so wonderful, Zod. I can't wait till he grows up.

Zod whinnies and than rubs his nose on you. You couldn't help, but smile and pat your horse on the neck gently. Sarah comes by to check on you.

Sarah: hey Y/N, I've been looking for you? Are you ready for the season to start soon?

Y/N: the horse racing? Yeah, me and zod have been training a lot. Can't wait to travel and go to many horse races. Ain't that right, Zod?

Zod whinnies and counts the ground. His little colt than does the same too. Sarah giggled a little and you watched proudly. Scarlet then looked out of their stable to check where Sarah was. Sarah than goes over to her horse and feeds her a carrot.

Sarah: there you go, girl. You needed this, didn't you?

Scarlet whinnies as well. Sarah smiles and pats her horse on the nose. You than side hug Sarah to bring her in close and she hugs you back.

Sarah: we're gonna make it, Y/N.

Y/N: what do you mean by that?

Sarah: we can graduate from horseland and go anywhere together one day.

Y/N: I know that, Sarah. It's just hard to even think about leaving horseland is all. I got so use to having you all around; I don't think I can fit in anywhere. Even if I try, you all are the best I can ever ask for.

Sarah: that's so sweet of you to say, Y/N, I knew having you around was the best decision anyone ever made.

Bayle than comes into the stables. You and Sarah acknowledge his presence, but he looked a little down in the dumbs.

Sarah: Bayle? Are you okay? You look a little sad.

Bayle: the twins, Chloe and Zoey.....they're leaving.

Sarah: what?! Why are they leaving?

Y/N: leaving? Do they have a reason why? Was it something that we said or dod that caused them to leave?
