Chapter 49 The Final Ark Part 4

June 8th rolled around quicker than you thought it would. New racers from all around came to the track.

Announcer #2: here we are ladies and gentlemen for the 1st time in history, we have new breeds from all over joining the track.

Announcer #1: about 64 horses to be exact and Y/N L/N is one of them. Still with his American standerbred stallion. After what happened last year, everyone is so surprised that he's back on the track.

Announcer #2: about 35 miles between here and the end lap. These new breeds have a lot to show for it, but Y/N has yet to prove himself.

News woman: well, if we read the numbers one more time, Y/N has little chance to win, and his horse won't be able to keep up for a second out in the track.

Now in the perp area.

You and zod were touching foreheads with each other. You and him now are ready for this race, but you felt the butterflies in your stomach a little bit.

Y/N: we can do this, Zod, we've trained for months for this new season and we have yet to win this race; I'm gonna need you to help me out here too. Remember who we are inside and we stay true to ourselves.

Zod whinnies and than nuzzles you a bit. You hug him back and pat him on the neck once again. Your friends than come forward to see you.

Sarah: Y/N, the race starts in an hour; are you ready for this?

Y/N: me and zod here will do our best to make sure that we come out on top today. Don't worry about us.

You step forward to Sarah and she takes you by the hands.

Sarah: I love you, Y/N, just do your best out there, okay? Don't want you to get hurt now; you got this.

Y/N: thanks, Sarah. I will do my best. I want to do this for me, but I want to do it for horseland as well. I got to make it right with all of us. Some how, and I hope this race can prove me right.

Sarah stands on her toes and kisses you on the lips.

Will: well, Y/N, everything is set and Bayle is checking on zods horseshoes. They seem to be ready for this 35 mile race.

Y/N: thanks for checking on them for me.

Jack: we believe in you, Y/N, you got this.

Nani: yeah, Y/N, we've seen you get better for these past few days.

Chloe: it'll be good to see you race again.

Zoey: yeah, it's about time you showed us what you're made of.

Molly: you got this, Y/N, you and zod.

Alma: si, you can do this. Just take it step by step.

Y/N: thanks you guys, i appreciate it. Thanks for coming out here and supporting me during my time of need. I hope to see you at the end of the finish line.
