Sticks and stones story

After the whole shooting I became good friends with Book, Joey, and Mouth some would even call us best friends. They all told me about what happened with Hayes it's still hard to believe that something like that happened but I believe them everyone in school had heard about it. I love them all one of them more than the others. Btw this was an introduction to the story and a little back story.

I was walking home when Mouth came running up behind me. Hey y/n what are you dooooing? I'm heading home I'm assuming you are too? Yea I gotta babysit my siblings I could really use some help he said and looked at me with puppy dog eyes. Fine I'll help you but I will have to sleepover is that okay? Y-yea it's okay he says nervously. We begin to walk to his house I always kept clothes in my bag in case I was staying at one of the boys house so we didn't need to stop at my house. We walked into his house his mom was rushing around in a panic Oh Mouth honey have you seen my keys? I need to be to work in 5 minutes and I can't find them anywhere. There right here mom Mouth says grabbing the keys off the floor. Oh thank you so so much honey I love you don't forget Betsy has been wetting the bed so you will have to wash her sheets tomorrow most likely. I know mom now go before your late oh and this is y/n she will be sleeping over tonight to help me is that okay? Yes honey that's fine I gotta go now by love you kids nice to meet you y/n. Nice to meet you to I say before she rushes out the door. So what are your siblings names? Well the oldest is duh me the best one and the second oldest is Darren he's 8 the only girl Betsy is 7 and there is a set of twins Alex and Andrew they are both 4. I stare at him in shock with how many siblings he has. Wow that's a lot of kids your mom must have been busy I joke. Yeah she was busy with my dad till he left after throwing to many right hooks he laughs but I could tell he was a little sad saying that. Hey let's make dinner it looks like they're hungry. We both look over at the kids who were grabbing their stomachs in hunger. Betsy cries out " I'm hungry Mouth make me foood!" Chill Betsy we are starting it now oh and everyone this is y/n she is staying the night and helping take care of you so be nice. Oooooo is she your girlfriend Darren says. Mouth throws a ball at him knocking him off the couch onto the floor. I ran over to make sure he was okay he was just laughing and smiling so I ran back to Mouth to help make dinner. In the middle of making Mac n cheese Mouth suddenly says oh btw Joey and Book are coming over for a few hours tonight is that okay? Yea that's great I didn't really see them in school much today it will be nice to talk for a bit. Mouth smiles and we continue making dinner I cut carrot sticks and put them on a plate with Mac n cheese and yelled " DINNERS READY!" The kids came running from outside and they all grabbed a plate and sat at the table to eat. Mouth grabbed a plate and started handing it to me" oops to slow" he said pulling the plate away laughing then I gave him a dirty look and he handed me the plate. We sat down to eat and it was getting late all the kids finished eating and we sent them one by one to get a bath then straight to bed. So I need a shower I'm gonna just get one is that okay? Yeah thats okay it's the first door on the left sorry if there is no hot water there's a lot of kids. It's fine I like cold showers anyway. You're weird he says laughing. I just walk away into the shower. TIME SKIP I get out of the shower and see Joey and Book sitting in the living room with Mouth. Omg hey guys I didn't know you were coming so early. Yeah we decided to head over early Joey says. Yeah it was a long walk over I wish Mouth didn't live on the opposite street from us at least he lives on the same street as you right y/n. Yeah it's pretty nice. Stop complaining Book sometimes I wonder if you're not secretly a girl Mouth says while laughing. Actually I am a boy Mouth you idiot. They both continue to argue while me and Joey talk about random stuff. What's your favorite candy Joey asks. Mmmm Probably skittles there so tasty. You do know it's all the same flavor right? Joey you did not just say that. It's true! Whatever I laugh. IM GOING HOME! Book says grabbing his things and sprinting out the door. What's wrong with you Mouth why are you such a jerk. Joey yelled out bye y/n! and ran after Book I couldn't hear what he was saying but I could tell he was shouting. Mouth what did you do? All I said was he needed to man up and stop being such a pussy. Oh Mouth I say a little disappointed. TIME SKIP. It's late now almost 12 we moved into his bedroom we didn't really care that it was so late because tomorrow was Saturday and we had no school so we could sleep in. I began making a bed on the floor when Mouth walked in and looked a little sad. What are you doing Mouth said. I am making my bed why you ask I didn't think you were that stupid I joked. Oh I just thought we could share my bed I mean if that's cool with you if not my floor is all yours he smiled. I looked a little shocked but picked up my floor bed and put away the blankets and pillows. I saw a slight smile plaster across his face. Fair warning I tend to move a lot when I sleep and I might try and snuggle you. That's okay with me he says smirking. I throw a pillow at him and say I am going to get into pajamas turn around please. Since Mouths bathroom was all the way inside his house and his rooms was separate from the house I just thought I would get changed in his room. O- oh okay he says and turns around you change into an oversized t shirt with skin tight shorts. I tell him I'm gonna try and go to sleep. I crawl into bed and he does too. I wake up it's around 2 in the morning I realize I'm being spooned I feel the warm breath on my head. I know who is snuggling me I stay silent I stay still then I feel a hand come across my cheek and then the hand moved across my face into my hair I hear someone mumble behind me " she's so perfect she would never like me though her hair is so soft and smells so good her skin feels like silk and she sleeps so peacefully I think I love her." I was in shock but didn't move I just sat there asleep I know who was behind me who said those words but I thought it was a dream we will find out in the morning I thought as I drifted asleep feeling so comfortable in his arms maybe I like him too I think I like Mouth.
