Warm hands

The familiar face comes closer it's Hayes. I give him dirty looks as he walks closer and closer. Hey y/n where are you headed it's getting cold out I should walk you home come on. He holds out his hand for me to grab but I don't take his hand I know he doesn't bother the boys anymore but I still hold a grudge for what he did it was horrible and I didn't forgive him but I didn't wanna start something new. My house is just over here but thanks have a nice night Billy. No I'm walking you home I wasn't asking he says sternly. Okay whatever I say and continue walking to my house it was about a 10 minute walk away from where we were now. So how's school are you failing any classes? No I'm doing really good surprisingly. Oh I'm not I think I'm failing most off my classes my dad still beats me for it he looks down and I feel a sadness for him I know that's why he hurt the boys but I never felt bad till I heard him say it. I'm so sorry your dad does that if you ever need a safe place you can always come to my house I smile. Thanks y/n that means a lot he smiles warmly back. Well we're here this is my house I say walking up to the front door. Oh well that sucks I was enjoying our talks do you wanna walk and talk some more? No I'm heading over to Mouths to help him watch his siblings I told him I would be right over sorry maybe some other day. His expression changed he now looked jealous and a little angry. Fine I gotta go anyway have fun with Mouth he runs off I could tell he was angry but I didn't have time to deal with him. I walked into the house ( btw your mom is Jamie and she is a florist and your dad is Jackson and he is a police officer) your mom was sitting at the table making a bouquet for the dinner table. Oh hey honey how was the babysitting last night? Good busy but good hey can I stay over there again his mom is gone again so can I go help him. Oh honey I don't know if you should stay again but I do feel bad the poor boy has no help so I guess you can make sure to bring clothes with you. Will do we're is dad? He's at work still there was a school shooting at the neighboring school and his team was called in. Oh w-will he be okay I say worried. Yes honey he always comes home safe and sound just keep him in your prayers. Yeah okay I'm gonna go pack my clothes. I'm still a little worried but I brush it off and just hope that he will be okay. I get my bag packed and give mom a kiss and a hug then out the door I go. Mouth lives around the corner and a few houses down it's a 10 minute walk and a 5 minute bike ride. I was gonna be a bit longer because I wanted to head into town to grab eggs and more popsicles because other wise there would be no breakfast tomorrow. TIME SKIP I am almost at Mouths house I finally get there I park my bike I notice a few other bikes outside I assume it's Joey  and Book I walk in the door. Hello Mouth I'm here! I walk into the living room it was empty. Now I was getting worried. I walking down the hall all the kids rooms were empty. I walked into the kitchen and there was Mouth, Book, and Joey they were cooking chicken tenders in the oven. You guys scared me I couldn't find you where you just in here the whole time? Yeah we are making dinner Book says. Where is Betsy, Darren, Alex, and Andrew? My aunt stopped by and picked them up she said I should have fun with my friends since we have school off tomorrow. Oh that's nice of her. I pulled the eggs and popsicles out of my bag and put them away. Y/n you didn't have to do that I was gonna go in the morning. No it's fine I don't mind now we can have breakfast in the morning I laugh. The timer beeps telling them that food is done they take the chicken tenders out of the oven we all grab some and put them on our plates. So I'm assuming the you guys are staying the night? Yup they both reply. Okay good. We all finish eating and put the plates in the sink and head for Mouths bedroom. It was late last night and dark I didn't really remember what it looked like but it was actually really cool. He had posters everywhere and one on the ceiling above his bed he had a new tv he used to have an old one but he broke it by shooting it. He had a small desk in the corner with very little school work on it and there was clothes everywhere yesterday I do remember that he picked them all up they were in the dirty clothes bin. The time skips I'm lazy and not to great a writing) it's night now Joey was sleeping on the air mattress they blew up which I didn't know they had and Book next to him. Mouth had insisted that I slept with him in his bed so I did. I woke up and went into his house to get a glass of water and use the bathroom it was around 3 am I walked over to the sink and filled up my glass  and took a drink then I felt warm hands on my stomach and warm breathing on my shoulder.
