✎ today, Vivid Bad Squad were taking a break from shows and practice... at Phoenix Wonderland, a well-known theme park by locals, though... it wouldn't be much of a break for Akito.

a majority have memories of visiting the theme park as children, and still visit it now, like Toya, but Akito was the total opposite, he insists to avoid the park as much as possible.

"c'mon! we could've chosen any other place in the whole universe, for God's sake..." Akito grumbled, rubbing his head in annoyance.

"do you have a problem with Phoenix Wonderland, Shinonome-kun?" Kohane butted in, blinking in curiosity. "actually, he does, Kohane! two guys from our school do shows here, Rui Kamishiro and Tsukasa Tenma," An answered enthusiastically.

"what's wrong with Kamishiro-kun and Tenma-kun, Shinonome-kun?" Kohane asked another question, staring innocently at Akito.

"don't worry about it... it'd be better if you didn't know," Akito said persistently, running his hand through his hair. "oh, okay!" Kohane seemed confused, but agreed anyway, smiling softly.

"anyways, we have to steer clear of those idiots and their stage as much as possible..." Akito sighed, making his girlfriend giggle. "you're so childish sometimes..." An teased, grinning calmly. "am not! I actually find my reasoning quite reasonable," Akito disagreed.

"if you say so..." An hummed, smirking smugly. "what? why are you staring at me like that?" Akito questioned, raising an eyebrow at his girlfriend, her smirk widening as a result.

"Aoyagi-kun, do you know about Tenma-kun and Kamishiro-kun?" Kohane asked Toya, and he nodded. "yes. Tsukasa is a friend of mine, he's very kind, and Kamishiro is one of the members of his troupe," Toya explained.

"they sound very nice indeed," Kohane smiled sweetly, sweet enough to rot a cavity in anyone's teeth. "yeah..." Toya uttered, averting his eyes away from Kohane and her adorable smile.

"oh, I was just gonna ask if you-" An paused, as Toya and Kohane had caught her attention. "An? what's going on?" Akito called out, glancing over to see what An was so invested in.

"Aoyagi-kun?" Kohane chimed in, loosening her brows in concern. "hey, uh... Azusawa, would you mind going on the ferris wheel with me?" Toya offered, finally smiling back.

the other two gawked at the sight, before looking at each other as if to say 'I think we should give them some time to themselves,' before going off to another area in the park.

"wow... it was about time Toya had made his move!" An laughed, nudging Akito's shoulder teasingly. "really. I wonder if Kohane got the hint," Akito shrugged, looking ahead as they continued on their way to find something else to do and not bother the two other lovebirds.

suddenly, loud voices erupted near where they were walking, catching them both off guard. "woah, what's that!?" An exclaimed, looking over her shoulder to see what the hell was going on.

"Emu, I told you, you don't have to tackle me every single time you see me!" a voice yelled. it was Tsukasa Tenma, to Akito's luck. "oh, God... it's him..." Akito grumbled under his breath, emphasizing the word 'him' in irritation.

"Emu, let go!" Tsukasa pleaded, turning into a tomato.

"aw, but Tsukasa-kunnnn!" another smaller and higher-pitched voice whined out. Emu Otori, who had a tight grip around Tsukasa's waist, refusing to let go. Tsukasa, with a bright red face, tried to pull the female's arms off of him, to no avail.

"Emu, let go..." Tsukasa's voice softened the second time he said it, his embarrassment taking over him and his usual loud and bright demeanor.

An blinked her honey yellow eyes multiple times, closely watching the energetic lovers and the chaos occuring in interest. "I wonder if Akito would be into that..." An pondered, blushing slightly to herself.

"I think we should go back to where Toya and Kohane were..." Akito mentioned, expecting An to answer. silence.

"An? ya good?" Akito asked, waving a hand in front of the half-consciously-aware-An's face, when suddenly, she jumped out at Akito like a wild animal, hugging around his waist as tight as she possibly could. "g-gah!" Akito gasped, spreading out his arms in shock.

"what the hell are you d-!? An, are you feeling alright!?" Akito yelped out, trying to pump some sort of answer out of his girlfriend, his cheeks burning up like an open fireplace.

"d-do you like this...?" An whispered, peeking up at Akito's face from his chest. "wh-what...?" Akito gulped as he stared down at An's body clung to his own, unsure if he should actually like this or not. "you can be honest if you don't..." An repeated.

"no, uh... it's pretty nice..." Akito admitted, his heart pounding in his chest, probably loud enough for An to hear right against her ear drums. "just... can you let go...? this is kinda embarrassin'..." Akito whispered back.

"that is what you heart says, huh?" An chuckled, letting go and backing up, her cheeks still quite warm. "wh-what?" Akito stuttered, his eyes still widened from their intimate moment just a few seconds ago. "your heart, it says you like it...~" An sneered, her voice low and flirty.

as An backed away, Akito felt a mix of relief and confusion wash over him, though his mind raced to catch up with the sudden turn of events. was he really enjoying An's embrace?

the warmth of her body against his own had sent his heart into a frenzy, but he couldn't deny the flutter of butterflies in his stomach.

"ah, uhm..." Akito tried to make up an explanation, but couldn't even manage to get a full word out of his mouth. "hehe! it's okay, I wouldn't mind doing it again, maybe in a more private place...~" An giggled, turning around and walking back the other way, her hands held together behind her back.

"now, c'mon, let's go get some ice cream for the one and only Vivid Bad Squad," An said, that unbearably teasing tone not disappearing.

with a deep breath, Akito pushed aside his uncertainty and trailed after An, his mind still buzzing with questions.

"what did An mean by wanting to do it again in a more private place...?" Akito wondered, staring at An's beautiful, long, star-filled hair waving back and forth with each step she took. Akito's cheeks were still tinged with warmth from their earlier encounter, so he couldn't help but stare.

As they walked towards the ice cream stand, Akito's mind was a whirlwind of emotions and thoughts. he couldn't shake off the feeling of An's embrace, nor could he manage to find out the true meaning behind her teasing words. was she really being serious?

but one thing was for sure, his, and An's, even though he didn't know it yet, hearts were racing at an unbelievable pace, and they couldn't wait to see where their relationship would take them next.
