Hau and Gladion walk in the doors of the mansion. Walking through the halls of the wide area, Hau came across a collage of photos, hung up on a single wall. Hau stopped in his tracks, mesmerized by the collection of memories captured in the photographs. There were pictures of Gladion as a child, playing with his Pokemon, and smiling with his family.
Hau found this really cute. He looked like a cute and lively child, but now he looks like an edge lord who looked like he raided hot topic. Hau couldn't help but smile at the contrast between the young Gladion in the photos and the serious, focused trainer standing next to him now.
"Are you done gazing?" Gladion said, startling the greenette. "Oh yeah, sorry" "It's okay.... Y'know, I really miss those days. Lillie and I are older now, and Mother and Father are getting old, really old."
Hau chuckled. It made him remember the days his mother was alive. He envied Gladion. He had a mother, which Hau didn't. But honestly, he was too nice to be jealous of someone. "Anyway, I gotta tell Hobbs you're here, and Lillie should know too." Gladion said. He led Hau to his huge, edgelord cored room. "Make yourself at home. I'll be right back." With that, Gladion left the room.
Hau changed into some comfortable clothes and he sat on the couch the green-eyed boy owned. He opened his phone and opened his gallery and looked through his old and recent photos. He was scrolling until one picture caught his eye. It was Him and some other boy. The boy in the picture was pale in colour, His hair was a ginger colour and it's length was until his jawline. He had amber coloured eyes, and his lips were tinted red.
Images of them flashed before him, as he felt uneasy. He was taking deep breaths, those deep breaths turned into rapid breathing, as more images of him flashed through him.
He was hyperventilating.
"Hau!" His train of thoughts stopped by someone shouting at him. It was Gladion.
"Hau, are you okay?" Gladion asked, concerned.
"Uh, yeah." Hau told him and looked down at his phone. Gladion took a sneak peak at his phone, confused by this he looked back at Hau. "Who's this?" Gladion asked. Hau's gray eyes darted down to his phone, which had now fallen on the ground. "He's my ex... Tonny."
Gladion's expression softened at Hau's revelation. He could sense the mix of emotions that Hau was experiencing and decided to sit beside him on the couch, offering a comforting presence.
"We were together for a while." He paused, debating whether or not he should continue. "Let's say it ended with me getting cheated on and someone... Dying?" Gladion gasped (or more like, he breathed harshly through his nose). "He died?" He asked. "What, No, Someone else died, meaning he killed someone!" Hau yelped at the last sentence. "I saw all of it. Well kinda. Sorta"
Gladions eyes softened again. Without thinking, he wrapped his arms on the smaller boy, pulling him close into a hug. Hau did the same, letting his face fall in the crook of Gladions neck, as tears streamed down his face.
A few minutes of them hugging in silence, They heard a knock on the door, and Gladion let him go.
"Come in!" Gladion said. Lillie opened the door and started rambling. "Gladion, I got you your packaged ramen. I don't know why you wanted packaged ramen, you never eat this and-Oh..." She stopped when she saw Hau. "Ohhhh ok now I know why."
"Who did you go to the store with?" Gladion asked, concerned about his sister's safety. "I went with Moon! At 6 pm!" She giggled. "Oh." Gladion said. "Oh!" He said once again, but this time a bit more disappointed. "I'm gonna give you guys some alone time, alright?" Lillie grinned, and put the shopping bag on the floor and left the room. Gladion rolled his eyes and turned to face Hau.
"Sorry about that" He rubbed his nape. "Are you okay now?" Hau nodded. "Yeah I'm fine... Now, I brought my DS, wanna play Mario kart?" Hau said and went back to his cheery self. "I have never lost in my life, you're on!"
They sat on the floor, each of them leaning against the wall. They started choosing their characters. Hau choosing Yoshi and Gladion choosing Shy guy. "Shy guy? Really? You really are emo." Hau snickered. "Oh shut up! You chose yoshi! What kind of kawaii kawaii act is that?" Gladion teased him. Hau rolled his eyes, then started giggling. It warmed Gladions heart up. But then again, he didn't know why.
"I want to get the new switch system, but it's like, around 1000 to 2000 yen." Hau complains. Gladion raises his eyebrow, and puts his hand on his chin, in a thinking motion. "I think I remember buying it not too long ago, since my DS was lagging a bit." Gladion said in his usual monotone voice. He took out a box that contained a game console, joy cons and the charging port, and a few wires. He set up the game console on the nearest table and when it was set he took out some Nintendo games from the bookshelf.
"I bought 3 games. Legends of Zelda, Mario kart deluxe 8 and Mario odyssey (?). Which one do you wanna play?" Hau thought for a second before he chose what he wanted to play. "Legends of Zelda!" Gladion nodded and put the chip in the console.
They played for a while. About until 20:00 (8 pm). "We should eat..." He took out the ramen packet and a small kettle from the shopping bag. "Lillie bought all of that?" Hau cocked one eyebrow. Gladion stayed silent, as he poured the hot water into the cup. Hau looked down, then repositioned himself,
"I remember, how whenever mum would come home late after work, she would always bring cupped noodles..."
Gladion looked up at him. "Anyway, have you ever wondered how the world would be without Pokémon?" Hau changed the topic. Gladion shrugged, as he started eating his noodles.
They started talking about different topics, Video games, Books, Gladion found out that he liked reading books like Fourth wing, once apon a broken heart and iron flame. Gladion, on the other hand, prefers reading manga, Like toilet-bound Hanako-kun, and Shonen jump books. The started talking about food ( Most specifically malasadas and Hau rambling about how good they are). Gladion couldn't help but smile.
Time passes by when you're having too much fun. It was soon midnight, and the two boys seemed tired. They brushed their teeth and changed into their pyjamas.
"I could sleep on the mattress if you'd like?" Gladion offered.
"No no, It's 'kay!" Hau says. "I can sleep on the mattress."
Gladion nodded and disappeared in the blanket. Hau on the other hand, took out a thick book which was titled 'fourth wing'. Gladion eyed the golden covered book, It had a nice, golden sheet to cover the actual book and the design was neat too. It seemed to be a fantasy book.
"What are you reading?" Gladion cocked one eyebrow. Hau went white. Kind of like he saw a ghost. "Uhhh it's uh not safe! PG270000" He sarcastically said, chuckling. Gladion shrugged to himself, and then disappeared into the covers again.
A few minutes later (Most specifically 30 minutes) Hau closed the book. "Should I close the lights?" Hau asked. No response. "Gladion?" He called on him once more.
No response again.
He got up and leaned towards the bedside. He could hear quiet snoring from the taller boy, and he could not help but slightly blush. He then got up and flicked the light switch. He laid down and his eyes grew heavier and heavier. Sooner or later, he went off to dreamland...
