***Short chapter***

Gladion POV:

I speed walk back to school, My hands trembling of fear as my hands find its way to my messenger bag.  I was scared. Scared for my life. What if something bad happened to Hau before we could get to him?

What if they kill Him?

No Gladion, I won't, I can't think that. He is an independent boy. But he's fragile too. 

I come infront of the school building, my hands now clammy due to sweat. I walk up the spiral steps. And each step I take, my knees get weaker and weaker. 

I reach the end of the steps, and I finally see Moon and Lillie. Of course, Moon was still eyeing me like I'm some sort of ghost. 

"Gladion..." I hear Kiawe say my name. I froze. I felt tears sting my eyes and a lump starting to form in my throat. I hung my head low, My blonde fringe covering up my eyes. My umbreon stared up at me, worried. 

"Is Hau okay?"

Is he okay? Is he? The tears finally caved and they started rolling down my pale cheek. thankfully no one noticed...that is until the clear water droplets fell on my red convers, staining them into a dark red.  

"Gladion?" I hear Moon from the other side of the room. She didn't sound too angry, but she didn't have a nice tone in her voice either. I look up, still trying to hid the fact that I was crying, my eye makeup was probably ruined and smudged. 

She looks back at me, her backpack swung around one shoulder. "Did you have a conversation with Hau and make things right?" She asks me. Oh god.

"Moon...The thing is though...We haven't seen him since yesterday, and he hasn't read any of our messages we've sent." Ash chimes in. I chew my nails, as I saw Moon slowly moved her head to face me.

"So then...what happened?" 

Fuck it

"He's...kidnapped..." I say, my voice cracks as tears started falling down my cheeks again, making them wet. Everyone's eyes widened in both shock and terror. I met Lillies eyes. Her eyes were wider than anything I have seen before, I could see the fear in her eyes. They were so close friends. I, being the arrogant person I am, didn't make it in time. Tears threatened to leave her eyes, I can't stand to see her like this.

"Gladion...WHAT"

"You've got to be kidding right?" 

"This is totally a joke!? Right Gladion?" 

They started bombarding questions like I was some answer machine. My face only kept getting redder the more tears spilled from my eyes. 

"Do you THINK this is a joke?! I am here CRYING my ass off, because I lost someone that was precious to me...I.." I was at a loss for words, my knees became weaker and weaker as I hit the ground, sobbing, wishing he was still with me. 

I handed Moon my phone and told her to check the messages between Hau and me from yesterday. I hear the audio of the abuse, the shrieks and the whimpers of the small boy. I can't stop myself from crying anymore. My throat burns, I wanna die. 

"You fucking ASSHOLE..." Moon yells, I guessed it was directed at me. "You..It was your fault...You made him run away because of your shit ass words-"

"I know....Selene, I know... I..regret it so much.." 

"I think if we tell professor Kukui about the situation, he'll let us use our ride pokemon? I Hope..." Lana spoke up, earning a nod from all of us. 

I heard dainty footsteps coming towards me. They put their arms around me, pulling me into a small hug. From the perfume I could smell, It was Lillie who was calming me down. Usually I am the one calming her down. But this time, she decided to do that. It felt awfully comforting.  

"Come on, lets go" She says in a soft tone. I follow along.
