Lincoln awoke screaming he looked around the room to see he was in his room when his mother barged into the room and asked Lincoln what's wrong, kiddo I had a nightmare Lincoln responded oh my poor baby boy Luna said as she hugged him Lincoln cuddled close to her looking for comfort and safety don't worry kiddo I'll always be here for you Luna said you promise Lincoln asked promise Luna responded now come on your grandfather is making breakfast Luna said Lincoln nodded as he stood up Luna wrapped an arm around him as she walked down into the dinning room hey Lincoln how are you doing Lori asked I'm fine aunt Lori Lincoln responded as he sat down
A few hours later
Lincoln was back in his room reading comics, trying to keep his mind off of what had happened to him just a few days ago. Hey, sweetie, how are you doing? Luna asked. I'll be fine, mom Lincoln responded as he went in for a hug. Luna smiled and pulled him into her arms. Don't worry, baby, I'll protect you. Tell my vary last breath if I have to, Luna said Lincoln smiled and cuddled close to her. I love you, mom. Lincoln said I love you to baby
A few more hours later
The family looked into the room of the oldest and their nefhew and saw the two asleep in each other's arms come on everyone we should leave them be Rita said as she walked back downstairs with the rest of the family heading down shortly after
