A gracious, almighty king loved by all his fellow citizens

Idolized by many young people

A symbol of hate in some eyes, like a red, burning crimsonfire

Heart of iron, body like steel, mind like brittle glass

The king sitting on his throne, oblivious to his past actions, or rather, not willing to remember it

A Tyrannic ruler capable of obliterating multiple lands

A Serial killer having a pile of bloody bodies behind him

A Walking calamity

His past joyful apparition, now faded into nothingness, leaving a broken husk of his former self. Like a blooming, vibrant flower withered away

In the past, a conflict between him and his two friends occurred

That was the catalyst for the end

His friend in disbelief over his actions

His other friend dead, pierced on a blade

"No-o Ceci-"

Why?

He doesn't want to remember nor did he ever experience the reason

Training until his individual muscle fibers rip apart, his mind broken into a dozen pieces like shattered glass

Running away, condensing trauma and sadness into a sphere and gobbling it all down

Thoughts tightly packed into the deepest recesses of his mind until only a devoid shell shall remain

...

The Pale King is born

Ah yes, classic. The typical elven guard's disgusting comments about us humans, judging the actions of few and generalising for the whole human race. They are similiar to us, both in their actions and thinkings. What are their ancestors then?

"Don't talk you distrustful bastard! Now get in your cell and stay put there." The soldier, whose name is Albold, said with a commanding voice, one filled with disgust.

With a blindfold on, my hands cuffed, me half-naked by taking my clothes away, and my gun taken away from me, I get pushed violently into the cell. Not even being a bit careful, aren't these elves?

"Stay put in there and don't try anything funny, understand human?" The corners of his mouth rose up, revealing crooked, yellowed teeth. I wish slapping his face was possible right now.

The sound of a puzzle construct being solved filled the now lone, rat-infested cell. Two pieces of metal pounding at each other caused a metallic sound resonating in the cave structure. Moments later, Albold quickly marched away.
