Lucinda POV:
I had been watching the news on my tv seeing what other threats were on my horizon when I see that the extermination had been cancelled. This excited me knowing that our biggest threats were gone, for now at least. But, then I see even the first man was killed it made me giggle, just knowing that he was actually truly weak.
I watched a bit longer till I saw that Niffty was the one to kill the first man, this intrigued me more but also got me questioning. Shouldn't she be dead? Father did capture her soul after all, so wouldn't she be dead? (Also this is just a thing of mine that once an overlord dies the souls they have captured die to, of course I am just putting it in this story. This is just part of this au. Anyways back to the story.) Then what I see next makes me pissed. I see the rest of the heroes that saved us, and my father is there among them.
Did he actually leave me? He didn't die like I wanted to believe. I shut the tv off and threw the remote at it. This made me so mad but at the same time hurt. I didn't want to believe that the only person to protect me, other than myself, in this hell, left me. I grew angrier and plotted when I would come to this "hotel" that he was said to be staying at and confront him.
I just can't believe he would actually leave me though. Was he planning on ever coming back to me? Probably not, it's been 7 years and he has probably forgotten me. Was I just not strong enough? If I wasn't I am now! I can't wait to see what he says when he sees how strong I am.
