Zeph's Pov:
*the next day*
After our passionate night, I felt so possessive of Cassidy. She was all mine at this point, and I craved every inch of her.
We woke up and immediately started making out. We couldn't get enough of each other. At this point, we were totally addicted. We wanted to stay in bed devouring each other all day, but we knew we had to get ready for school.
"Let's skip today, Zeph," Cassidy whispered, her eyes sparkling with mischief.
"I wish, baby," I replied, "but remember, I can't miss more days." I kissed Cassidy's lips again, savoring the taste of her.
Cassidy pouted playfully. "Just one more day?"
I smiled, tracing her lips with my thumb. "Soon, I promise. But for now, let's get ready."
As we were getting ready, I said, "Who would've thought the studious Cassidy wants to miss school to be with me?"
Cassidy blushed, her voice barely above a whisper. "Oh, Zephyrine, I'm so down for you. I'd skip school for you any day now."
My heart skipped a beat at her words. I pulled her in, our lips meeting in a tender kiss.
Reluctantly, we broke apart.
"You look amazing," I said, fixing Cassidy's hair.
"So do you," Cassidy replied, tracing my smile.
"Ready to head downstairs? Your mom's driving us to school, right?" I asked.
"Yeah, she is," Cassidy replied.
Once we arrived at school together, and this time just me and her, with her mom. People stared as if the world was ending or something.
Danielle approached us and said, "You girls look radiant, like you fucked the shit out of each other."
"Oh my god, Dani, stop it!" Cass said, blushing.
"We actually did," I said to Danielle, smiling.
"Oh my god!" Danielle said, jumping and letting out a little scream.
"It was great, though," I shot back.
"I don't need the details," Danielle said, laughing and rolling her eyes.
"Change of topic, okay? We need to hand in the permission slips," Cass said.
"I'll hand them in in a bit; you guys go give it to the principal. I have to talk to Xander," Danielle said as she walked away.
Cass and I walked in the hallways, holding hands on our way to the principal's office, and this random guy said, "Damn, what a waste. How can you two be so beautiful and date each other?"
That was the stupidest thing I heard all day. I laughed and said to him, "You just answered your own question, boy." As we both kept walking away from him.
