Chapitre 1

Shen qingqiu did not like it at all , the week leading to his joy, it started by waking up on the wrong side of the bed , and he hated every second of it

He was woken up by a nightmare from a half a sishen of sleep , scratch that , barely half ! and he had a meeting soon after that

The yelling the other peak lords did didn't help his uneasiness and temper , yue qingyuan side eyed him the entirety of it , probably judging him , liu qingge couldn't keep his mouth shut and insulted him a bunch of times (why is he even here ?!) encouraged by qi qingqi who seemed to want to beat her last record of insult thrown at him by the meeting

And when he snapped back , yue qingyuan reprimanded him , as if HE was the problem , as if HE started it !

Fucking fuck !!!

And as if to mock his hopes of going back to his bamboo house and enjoy the next month with having as little glimpse of them as possible , qi qingqi managed to get him into a mission so that he wouldn't 'laze around'

Hell ! you would think she didn't want to see him ! why drag him along ?

The next couple days after that were awful , and the ride to the village , his only reprieve was too short for both his and qi qingqi's good as his mood stayed the same , horrible .

The mission in the end was all the fault of demonic cultivators , and they would of have gotten them much earlier if qi qingqi just LISTNED , but no , of course she wouldn't !

Now he is running from 2 cultivator , leading them to a trap , knowing well that he wouldn't of had to do it if he had been alone

And just as he by passed various object in the house they were in , he saw it

A green yellowish egg , just .... Existing there

Of course he wasn't going to leave it there , what if it was some monster ??? demon ??? he took it in his arm and ran

To be honest , it was an impulsive action , with little thought behind it , he only realized this when he neared the trap , and damn did he stop caring at that point

Returning to the sect , he gave the unknown egg to the beast tamer peak lord , returning to his bamboo house ,ignoring the strange feeling of loss

While doing his paper work however , he felt weirdly tired , he couldn't concentrate anymore so he went , although reculantly to his bed and slept

It was warm here , he could distinctly feel his qi moving in a soothing manner , along with an unfamiliar one

Still it didn't freak him out like he should , a part of it felt like home , like family , like a part of him

Small steps resonated in the room and a hand touched his face , a small chubby one accompanied with joyful childish laugher

Ok , this –whatever it was- is weird

Shen qingqiu tried to open his eyes to no avail , still there was a feeling that intensified whenever the toddler –because it sounded like one- laughed , in HIS companies , unafraid and happy of all things

And he didn't feel anxious in this situation , instead , it was an overwhelming curiosity , and fondness

The feeling caught him off guard , but not what accompanied it , as if it's supposed to make sense
