Ride or die. This is all that mattered to Tonhon, before he met his wife Kanya and his son Pete was born. Even though he still had passion rooted deeply in his heart, he needed to take care of his little family. Where love and happiness were ranked first and anything else did not matter; not that much. Not until the time they found out that their little son is different. Not different in a bad way - more like specially different.

Pete was a young and cheerful kid, who was supported by his parents no matter what. Pete and his father loved cars; fast cars to be exact. Pete's mother was always there to support them, it didn't matter if it was Pete's father or Pete sitting behind the steering wheel. She was always there cheering for them; until the time she wasn't. One Saturday morning when Pete was preparing for the race of his life he received a message that his mother died in a car accident. Pete's father was the one driving. He survived the crash, but his legs were crushed and they are currently operating on him. Pete withdrew from the race and hurried to the hospital to see his parents. He just could not accept the fact that his mother was no longer right next to his side. She was always kind, happy and mainly honest with everyone, she was right next to him every time he needed a little push, encouragement or just a simple hug.
The way to the hospital was hard, he himself was shaking almost uncontrollably behind the steering wheel, tears streaming down his face. There was a moment at the traffic lights that he almost crashed into a car stopping in front of him. The numbers were slowly counting down the time for green to pop-up, Pete was nervously stepping on the gas pedal, the guy sitting inside the car was probably annoyed by him, he stepped out of the car, knocking on Pete's car window. As he rolled it down slowly, eyes still glued on the timer. "Can you just knock it off dude? You are fucking annoying." As the person lowered his gaze on Pete's face he noticed those tears and that he ignored him. "Can you fucking hear me dude? Do you even know how to drive?" He tried it again, but Pete was perfectly used to this kind of a talk from people that knew shit about him. "Yeah, yeah.. I don't know how to drive, I am completely useless. Just piss off and leave me alone." Pete muffled, rolling the window back up.
The stranger just shook his head and walked back to his car. Thinking that he would just piss Pete off too. Little did he expect that the very next second the traffic lights shown green Pete would whizzed around him not giving him a single chance. The stranger followed him all the way to the hospital. Pete parked the car almost recklessly and ran inside the hospital, not realizing that the stranger was right behind him. Pete stopped right in front of the reception. "Hello, my father.. They brought him here, he had a car accident.. my mother.." Pete almost shouted at the nurse, with his hands running through his already messy hair, tears sparkling on his face in the late morning sun; shining through the hospital windows.
"I am so sorry about your mother.." The nurse said and made Pete sob a bit more.
"Mr. Vegas, they need you in the OR*" The nurse said a bit louder to a person standing right behind Pete. "Sure thing, I'll head there now." With a wink towards Pete he started to walk towards the OR's.
Pete looked confusedly at the nurse and back of the guy that knocked on his window a moment ago. Why the fuck he was winking at him. "Oh, Mr. Saengtham, your father is still being on the OR they asked Mr. Vegas for a further consultation, at the moment I know that your father is stable, even though he lost a lot of blood." The nurse tried to calm Pete down, but his eyes were still glued to the person walking away. "C-can I see my mother?" He asked out of blue, the nurse nodded and called someone from the other staff to help Pete with his request.
