Monday. Again. I hate Mondays with a burning passion. Why must it always come back around every week? I wish that every day could be Friday. 'Cus Fridays are the best day of the week, no questions asked.

I finally decide to drag myself out of bed and I take a nice, warm shower. I then put on a cute, off the shoulder top along with a pair of jeans. My usual. I don't usually try too hard to look good for school. If people don't like the way that I look, then they don't have to look at me. My philosophy right there. I'm obviously a genius in the making.

When I finally make my way downstairs, I smell the most amazing pancakes that I think have ever been made. Pancakes are my absolute favorite thing to eat! I mean, who doesn't like pancakes? Well, unless you're allergic to them. If you are, then you haven't lived!!!!! Pancakes are life.

Once I finish the most amazing food that has ever been created by mankind, I grab my backpack and fly out the door to get to school on time. For a second, I admire my beautiful car, and before I waste too much time, I drive to school.

Ahh. The Monday morning rush of everyone trying to get all of their homework done because they didn't do it over the weekend. It's only about a month into the school year, and people are already slacking. Wow, says a lot about us teenagers these days.

As I make my way down the hall, I accidently bump into someone and fall over. Well, I would've fallen over if the person that I ran into didn't end up catching me. As I looked up, I gazed up into the majestic, emerald eyes of this mysterious person. I don't think that I have ever met him before. It's weird that I have never met him because this is such a small town; everybody knows everybody.

As he helps me stand back up, he introduces himself. "Hi, sorry about that. I'm a little confused as to where I'm supposed to be. I'm Landon by the way," he states with a slight blush suffusing his cheeks, "and who are you?"

"Hi, I'm Emily. Its nice to meet you Landon. I haven't seen you around here in our school before. Are you new this year?" I inquire after introducing myself.

"Well, I'm new to this school, but I've lived around here for my whole life. I used to go to West High school; it's on the other side of town."

"That's interesting. They're our biggest rival. But you probably already knew that," I mentally face palm myself for saying something so stupid. Of course he knew that they were our biggest rivals because we are and have been their school's biggest rivals for many years. I feel a blush of embarrassment make its way to my cheeks and Landon gives off a cute chuckle.

"Yeah I did, but its fine. You're funny, Emily, we should hang out sometime and get to know each other better."

"Okay. Yeah sure that would be fun!" I say as I write down my number on a piece of paper and hand it to Landon. "So, I guess I'll see ya around then! Bye, Landon."

By the time lunch rolls around, I am absolutely starving. I think I could literally eat a horse right about now.

I do a quick scan of what is being served for lunch and hop in line. I'm going to get a yummy grilled cheese sandwich!

As I'm about to pay for my food, Liam comes up behind me and taps me on the shoulder. I think I just had a mini heart attack. "Hey, Emily! Do you want me to pay for that?" he inquires as I still try to recover from that mini heart attack.

"Uh..." great why can I never form coherent sentences around this boy? "if you want to then that would be very nice."

"Okay." He handed the lunch lady a five dollar bill, ya I know, the food at our school is expensive, and then he motioned for me to sit down at his lunch table which made my cheeks suffuse into a blush.
