Chapter 4.

Soarynn
"I think I'm going to win this election," Coriolanus called out.
Soarynn perked up at the sound of her lover's voice. She didn't know when to expect him which was why she was currently sitting on the floor of her walk-in closet, going through all of her lingerie. Since getting back together Coriolanus had showered her with gifts. Flowers, candies, romantic dinners, new clothes, and lots of lingerie.
Soarynn figured now was a good time to organize it since she wasn't allowed to turn on the television.
Coriolanus had gone to his first Presidential rally to boost his support and list out his ideas for Panem should he be voted President. Per his request, Soarynn had refrained from watching it on television or listening to it on the radio in case things went south. But Coriolanus triumphantly marched into her closet with his head held high and his chest puffed out. He was teeming with excitement and pride.
Soarynn smiled up at him, "It went well?"
Coriolanus let out a breathy laugh as he began to pace the closet, "It went perfect. You'll have to come to my next one. Everyone loved me, and no one brought up my age which I thought would be a huge factor," he said, carding his hand through his hair, "but there's still lots of time for my opponents to bring it up," he added, keeping himself in check. Soarynn watched her boyfriend as he told her every last detail of tonight which was the official kickoff of his Presidential campaign.
He had all of his ducks in a row so to speak. He had the money, the looks, the charm, the ambition, and he had the girl.
For his sake, she hoped he won.
He'd be gutted if he lost and Soarynn honestly wouldn't know how to handle him if he did. Soarynn had grown used to Coriolanus exceeding at everything he did, so failure was not an option. His ideas for this year's Hunger Games had been a major success and he'd been offered the role of Head Game Maker which he humbly turned down. He used that momentum to announce his campaign and boost his popularity. He was doing exceptionally well in her opinion.
"Well I'm very proud of you," Soarynn told him, carefully arranging all the garments by color. Coriolanus glanced down at her and what she was doing and his eyebrows raised, "Have I really bought you this much lingerie?" Soarynn hummed as she picked out a lacy pink bralette with bows on the straps, "We could start a boutique at this point."
He glanced out into her room and Soarynn craned her neck to see if perhaps Petunia was coming to grace them with her presence but she didn't see the feline. "Well then I most definitely didn't buy you something else in the midst of my celebration," he said rather sheepishly.
Soarynn grinned as she pushed herself up from her spot on the floor and walked into her room where there was a pink box sitting on her bed, wrapped in a white bow. "Coryo you really didn't have to get me anything," she mumbled, carefully untying the ribbon.
He liked to use those for other things, so Soarynn learned to keep them instead of tossing them out.
Coriolanus stayed in the closet which led her to believe he wanted her to put on whatever was in this box. Soarynn lifted the lid and her eyes widened at the lingerie that sat on the white tissue paper. It was pink, with tulle flowers on the edges of the bra, and studs lining the bone structure. There were small silver tassels that hung from between the cups and in the center of the thong.
