America sighs as he enters the meeting, grinning as he heard the voices from the meeting room from down the hall. He snickered recognizing England getting onto France for whatever he had done this time. America strides up to the door, placing a hand on the handle. He takes a breath and grins wider, looking at the door with a determined look. He then swings the doors open, making the doors swing open loudly. He heard the room quiet down before he opened his mouth." Never fear the hero has arrived!"
England rolls his eyes and looks at the country almost irritated at his entrance." America just sit down so we can get this over with." He grumbled before pouring himself a cup of tea. France took this as an opportunity to bug England before the sound of hands slamming onto the table had everyone's heads turning towards Germany." EVERYONE SIT DOWN NOW!" America scrambled towards his seat, sitting down with a small huff as he crossed his arms. America looked towards Germany as said country sighed and sat down again, folding his hands on the table.
Germany glanced around at the countries before speaking again." To start this meeting off, I'd like to congratulate England on the proposal he and France had agreed to." America perked up hearing this, glancing over to England. He grinned seeing France sending him a wink, England looked a bit mortified at the gesture. America had tuned Germany out as he wondered what proposal England had accepted, and why it was with France of all countries. America knew how much England despised the French country, he raised an eyebrow as he tried to come up with a reasoning as to why England would accept a proposal from France in the first place. His train of thoughts came to a halt as a loud voice made him jump and look over with wide eyes at Germany. "AMERICA!"
Germany grumbled as he now had the country's attention." Finally, I thought you would've been more attentive...Anyway it's your turn America." Germany sighed sitting down. America perked up and grinned, excited for what idea he had. He stood up and cleared his throat as he pulled out a few papers from his bag." Well I had this idea for a new amusement park, and I thought..."
America sighed as he stared at the table from where he had sat. To his dismay, his idea was shot down immediately, even after he had explained everything bit by bit. He glanced at the papers he had messily drawn, as well as some of the notes on it. He felt a hand on his shoulder and looked up. He saw it was Canada, offering him a small smile." J-Just for the record, I-I think your idea was really cool Al.." America smiled a bit at him." Thanks...Mattie." He softly replied, before looking back at his papers. He sighed and gathered his papers before standing up. He looks over and placed a hand on Canada's shoulder." I'll meet you at home, I'm gonna take a walk before going home." He said before walking off before the other country could reply.
America walked through the city to the outskirts where a forest resided. He glanced up at the forest before walking on the trail that went into it. Surely a small walk into the forest wouldn't hurt, there was still some daylight left anyway. He ended up walking on the path getting lost in thought before he heard noise in front of him. He immediately froze seeing a herd of horses and ducked down. He peeked over the top of the bushes, watching the horses in awe. They were close enough he thought he could just reach out and touch one of them.
He watched as a few of them began to get spooked. At first he was confused, but then realized it was because of him. There was a slight breeze that came from behind him, and went towards the horses. He watched as they began to run away, sighing as he stood up. He dusted off his pants from kneeling and looked up, gasping in shock. In front of him, maybe about 20 feet, was a lone horse staring at him. It looked as if it was going to run, but had paused to look at him. He watched as it sniffed the air and snorted, before turning to follow the herd. He noticed in the darkening skylight that it looked to be a paint, but he wasn't sure on the colors.
America stood there for a few more moments before grinning and laughing in joy. He fist pumped the air before turning around and beginning the walk home. He had a bounce in his step this time as he walked, humming a tune from his favorite anime. After awhile of walking he managed to find his way back to the city, and walked the familiar route home. He noticed how late it was so he made sure to be quiet when entering his and his brothers home, and went straight to his room. He shut the door and laid on the bed, sighing as he looked up at his bedoom ceiling. As he drifted off to sleep, he wondered if he was going to see the horse again.
