The figure stood off to the side of the meadow, glancing around at the herd in front of them. They had wondered how the herd had accepted them so easily, but shrugged it off as it being pure luck. They turned to look back into the woods, reminiscing about what had happened the other day. The herd had spooked at the smell of a person that was close by, but they had wanted to stay and see just who it was that spooked the herd. To their surprise it was a young man, adorned in a bomber jacket and appeared to have a cow lick in his blonde hair. They had eye contact for only a moment, but they knew that if they hadn't turned to follow the herd when they did, they would have gotten lost in the man's beautiful blue eyes. They huffed and lowered their head a bit, their ears twitching as they remembered what had happened to them.

They were visiting a friend, who happened to be working on potions and had accidentally knocked one over on themselves. They had apologized and went back to their home that night, but the next morning was when the change happened. When they realized they felt weird and tried to stand up, they ended up tripping over the blanket and falling on the floor. They had looked over to a mirror they had in their room, staring in shock as a horse stared back at them in the mirror. They remembered that animal control had been called, apparently, they were being loud in their confused state, and someone had called in to say there was a trapped horse. When animal control opened the doors however, they ran for the woods. They had hoped they could find their friend, but when they had tried to walk back into the city, people would try to catch them.

They raised their head and looked up at the sky, watching a few birds fly by. They wondered if anyone had put up missing person signs, or if anyone had bothered to look for them. They looked at the herd again before deciding to go for a walk. They turned and began walking away, their tail flicking away a few flies as they walked deeper into the woods.

America POV

America walked along the trail he had taken the other day, looking around for anything that looked familiar. He thought about calling out, but he didn't want to spook the herd if they were still around. He continued walking, retracing his steps as he went further into the woods. He hoped the herd was still there, he wanted to get a closer look at them. He was too into his thoughts to realize the danger that was behind him until it was too late. A loud roar rung out through the woods, followed by a scream.

??? POV

They were at a stream, watching the wildlife around them when they startled at the loud roar. They turned towards where the scream came from, their ears alert. They snorted and took off towards the sounds, wondering what was going on. They slowed down as they got closer to the sounds of growling, and fighting. They walked up behind a tree, peeking out from behind it. They watched in surprise as they saw the man from yesterday fighting for his life against a polar bear and another man. They shook their head and jumped out from behind the tree, throwing themselves at the bear. They hoped they would be able to get out of this alive, they thought as they turned and began kicking out at the bear.

America POV

America had gotten knocked over by something heavy, landing on the ground with a thump. He gasped and scrambled up, looking over to see 2p Canada, and his polar bear growling at him. He gulped and began scooting away from them, why didn't he ever listen to England? "Well lookie what we have here Kuma, what do you say we have ourselves some fun, yea?" Matt grinned down at 1p America, Kuma growling in agreement and walking towards him. They were both caught off guard hearing, then seeing a horse jump out and defend America. Matt gasps and whistled for Kuma to back off. Kuma huffs confused and backs off, looking at his owner confused as well.

??? POV

They snorted and pawed at the ground, shaking their head. They turned and looked at the man from yesterday, their ears perking. They watched as he stood up, watching him carefully, but he seemed to be friendly. They looked over at the other man and polar bear, snorting loudly. They felt a hand on their neck and turned to look at the man beside them. "Hey there...wow I can't believe you saved my life..though I think we should probably go before they decide to attack again.." The man spoke to them, and they turned and began walking away with the man. " Hey! Where do you think your going??" They looked at each other before coming to a mutual agreement in their minds. The man hopped onto the horses back, the horse rearing a bit before taking off in a gallop down the trail. The man atop of the horse laughed and whooped as he hung on. They wondered if maybe the man might be able to help them, they shrugged it off for now. The main focus now was getting away from the other man and polar bear, which they were still confused about, polar bears weren't native to this area, so how did it get here? They shook their head with a huff, heading towards where the woods meets the city. They wondered what would happen now, they glanced back at the man on their back seeing a wide grin on their face. They slowed down seeing they were almost at the edge of the woods, their ears flicking. They spooked as a figure stumbled into view, managing to stop with their side facing the person. The man on her back gasped making her look at him confused." Arthur?? What are you doing??"
