Y/N's POV:

By the end of the day I feel so mentally drained that I didn't even care nor bother to move away when I was falling asleep against Billie in tech theatre. We didn't have much else to do today so our drama teacher, Miss Kelley, said that we could relax for the rest of the period in the auditorium seats.

So here I was with my head rested in Billie's lap. She didn't seem to mind one bit since every now and then she'll run her fingers through my hair. With her free hand, the girl above me would scroll on instagram or text our friends in the group chat — that I had no motivation to partake in.

"Drew wants to know if you're down for the arcade after school." Billie stroked my hair, settling her hand on my shoulder. Her blue eyes gazed into mine, no hint of hatred or disgust in them towards me.

"Sure." I muttered softly, almost weakly. "Will you be there?" It was a pathetic question to ask, especially when the person you're asking isn't particularly fond of you.

"For you, I will." She states with her eyes glued to her phone, typing away with one hand to respond back to Drew. For some reason I felt a rush of heat form in my face, my cheeks growing red as I begin to feel flushed and flustered.

We sat in a comfortable silence for another 5 minutes before the bell rang, signaling that last period will be starting soon. I lifted myself off of Billie and grabbed my backpack, but it was swiftly taken from me by the silver-haired girl without a single word from her. I ignored her choice of action and just followed her anyway. We didn't have last period together, but it looks like she's walking me to class.

Luke used to do that.

"Thanks." My voice was barely above a whisper as Billie handed me back my backpack when we approached the door to my classroom. I hate math.

"We'll drive over together to the arcade." She whispered back, tightening the straps of her own bag on her back. "See ya, loser." She kissed my hand and strolled away to her class that was a few doors down from mine.

Again, there was that rush of heat coming to my face. I quickly ducked my head down so no one noticed and popped into class. I sipped some water to cool me down, but Odessa had already noticed my flustered state.

"What's up with you? Did Luke finally make you flustered again?" She asked, a smile of empathy as the subject of Luke was sort of sensitive.

"It wasn't Luke." Those words leave my lips faster than I had hoped. I couldn't help what I said next, "It was Billie."

Odessa's eyes widen a little in surprise, but she keeps her cool and smiled a little. "Billie? Hm. I mean, I always sensed some sort of... tension between you two. Are you hooking up with her behind Luke's back? Oh, shit, do you like her?" I clasped a hand over her mouth to stop her rambling about these accusations and questions. I signal her to stop talking and pull my hand away from her mouth.

"No, I don't like Billie like that. And even if I did, I wouldn't do anything since I'm still with Luke. Our relationship may be dying, but I'm not a cheater." I quickly answered the questions that mattered and before Odessa could ask or say anything else, the teacher walked inside and began his class.

Kill me now.

Meeting Billie outside in the school parking lot, I spot her leaning against her baby. Aka Dragon, her car. She loves that thing like it's her child and I somewhat understand why. It's a very nice car. She's turning 17 this year so her parents bought her it as an early birthday gift. Speaking of her birthday, it's only 15 days away. I might not like the bitch, but I will celebrate her birthday and get her something.
