Chapter 2: New Lifes and Help

Bumblebee was following Hijiki and his wolf mech with Charlie on his shoulder. He's eyes were still red. He despised their kidnappers with a bitter taste. He'll have to either move them or upgrade their security when this is all was over. "Here we are." Hijiki's voice made Bumblebee stop and look passed them. He saw a stage in the form of a circle. There were steps leading up to the surface of the platform. Its sides were carved with ruins that the Ancients taught him to read. And he had a bad feeling of what was going to happen. "I should take Charlie off your shoulder." Bumblebee snapped his head to Hijiki. "We don't want her to get caught in the process. Do we?" Bumblebee glared but he let the wolf mech take Charlie off him. Once he stepped out of Bumblebee's way, he marched up onto the stage. He turned to face them, and then glowing chains shot out from the ground, and they forced him onto his knees. "Let's begin," Hijiki grinned.

"Dad...?" Maya called out in a small voice.

"It's going to be alright, Maya," Bumblebee promised in a gentle voice. "It's going to be al-" His eyes all of a sudden shut tightly together. He hunched over himself huffing hard. He made pain indications from the noises he was making. His head flew up, his eyes opened wide, and he was yelling in agonizing pain.

"DAD!" Maya tried to break free but stopped at her mother's command. There were small, circular glows coming off in the center of Bumblebee's chest. The chains were tugged on, Bumblebee's eyes pure white, wings seemed to be forming from his back, his enter body seemed to be changing. 

Hijiki glanced back smiling at his wolf mech. Unexpectedly, the wolf mech toss Charlie onto the circle platform. She tried to stand but the same pain Bumblebee was having entered her body. Mostly in her chest. "MOM!" Maya started to wiggle. Her eyes were streaming.

"Now, now," Hijiki told her. "It'll all be over soon." Maya didn't tear her eyes off of her parents. Spheres of light came out of their chests and floated upward and joined together. Bumblebee stopped screaming and slumped over shaking. He looked different; Maya guessed it was due to the whole ritual. Charlie collapsed and was too shaking. Her hair was stripped with white strings. Maya's attention turned to the glowing balls. She was awestruck when they became children. "How precious," Hijiki said in a calm voice. "Thank you for your services." Maya then realized that her father wasn't conscious. Neither was her mother. She started to struggle to break free again.

"Stop it!" The wolf mech tightened his grip on her.

"DAD! MOM!" Maya cried. 

"Now, you'll be coming with us." Hijiki told her.

Maya's eyes widened. "You said you would give me back to my parents!"

"And I was going to. But I've changed my mind." Anger entered Maya's mind and heat was coming off her body. An azure-colored fire shot out from her back and her braided hair became fire. She burned the wolf mech's face and hand. Hijiki was about to say his name but when he turned, the side of his face was lit up. He quickly patted it out before noticing Maya was holding the newborn children with her fire telekinesis. "TRY SOMETHING AND YOU'LL REGRET IT!" she bellowed. Fireballs formed in her hands, fire coming out of her mouth and nose. Bumblebee slumped to his side and his trembling had stopped, and so did Charlie's. The wolf mech and Hijiki knew they could face her. But what they weren't expecting was that three predacons appeared behind them.

These Predacons beat the scrap out of them before checking on Maya and her parents. Maya set the newborns down but kept a fire field around them for safety. The white and black predacon mech with white and black eyes, broke the chains on Bumblebee and removed his bounds, then their collars. He turned Bumblebee onto his back, and he let out a small groan.

The she-cyber predacon who was shades of azures, was checking on the new lifes. Maya told her what happened and the she-cyber predacon simply said, "You've done well."

"Yeah, but I wish I could've done more." Maya glanced back at her dad. She couldn't feel more than responsible for this.

"How about you help me bring these younglings to our ship with your telekinesis, and we'll take to a new place where those two can't find you?"

"Okay." Gently lifting the children up, Maya was led to the Predacons' ship. She was told to go to the med bay and place them on the berths. Shortly afterwards, the two mech predacons came in with Bumblebee in their arms. The she-cyber holding Charlie in her arm. "Are they going to be, okay?" Maya asked in a small voice.

"Yes," the golden mech predacon told her. "They just have their energy drained. They'll need rest but other than that," he placed his claw on Maya's shoulder, "they will be okay." Maya looked at her father as guilt entered her mind.
