Chapter 3: They're Awake!

Bumblebee's eyes started to open and blinked a few times. He pushed himself up and found an IV in his arm. "How long was I out?" he wondered aloud.

"Bee ...?" Charlie's voice made Bumblebee turn his head.

"Charlie?" Bumblebee saw the white strings of hair mixed with Charlie's brown hair on her head. "Why do you have white hair strings?"

"What...?" Charlie said tiredly. She all of a sudden, she snapped awake. "Bee!" she exclaimed. "You have wings!"

"What?" Bumblebee raised an eyebrow and looked at his wife in confusion.

"Just look at your back!" Charlie told him. Bumblebee lowered his eyebrow and turned his head to look over his back. His eyes widened at the sight. He scanned the new limbs carefully. He commanded his new body parts to open a little. They obeyed with no questions. He was instantly awestruck and guessed that the wings were a side effect from the ritual. That was the moment he remembered about Maya.

He whipped his head to Charlie. "Maya!" he exclaimed. Panic swept over them like a hurricane. He removed their IVs and they started to get out of bed, but a lightheadedness caused them to fall back. The door opened and they whipped their heads to it.

"Ying-Yang?" Bumblebee questioned at the sight of the black and white predacon.

"You're awake!" he exclaimed with a smile. Bumblebee and Charlie looked at him in confusion. "You've two been out for weeks!" he exclaimed.
