The stadium buzzed with energy as Aurora sat courtside at an Iowa basketball game. The atmosphere crackled with excitement, and Aurora found herself captivated by the skill displayed on the court.

As the game progressed, Aurora couldn't take her eyes off Caitlin .The crowd erupted in cheers as Caitlin effortlessly weaved through defenders, sinking shots with precision.

Sitting beside her was Lana, Aurora's best friend who decided to join her for the game. Lana couldn't help but notice how Aurora was so focused on Caitlin.

As the game reached its peak, Caitlin got closer to where Aurora and Lana were sitting. Lana nudged Aurora, a knowing grin on her face. "Looks like she's heading your way, Aurora. Might wanna step out before you faint"

Aurora's heart skipped a beat as Caitlin's eyes met hers, a confident smirk playing on Caitlin's lips. In that split second of eye contact, Caitlin winked, making Aurora blush profusely.

"Lesbian found dead in a ditch" Laughed Lana, looking at her friends extremely red face.

Aurora laughed nervously, her gaze still locked with Caitlin's as the game continued around them. Caitlin's wink lingered in Aurora's mind, the blonde not being able to shake it off;

As the end of the game approached, Aurora's, as she would call it, tiny obsession with Caitlin, got extremely obvious.

"I don't think you've ever been gayer then you are tonight" Lana teased, nudging Aurora playfully as Caitlin made yet another impressive shot.

"What?" exclaimed Aurora, turning her head to the girl next to her.

"You've been giving fuck me eyes to Caitlin the whole game, the eye contact you two made when she came here to shoot? that was some gay shit"

Aurora rolled here "Oh, come on, Lana. Can you blame me? She's so good, the entire team is"

Lana chuckled. "Is she's so good the new I need her so bad"

Aurora rolled her eyes, but couldn't suppress a smile. "Who made me invite you here"

Unbeknownst to Aurora, Caitlin's teammates had noticed her presence courtside—a fact that they not duo jokingly attributed to Caitlin's record-breaking performance that night. After the game finished and Iowa had won, some of the girls came up to Aurora.

"Hey, are you Aurora De Luca?" They asked, still breathless from the game.

Aurora smiled warmly, "Yes, that's me. You guys were incredible tonight!"

"Thank you! Cait's on fire tonight, and we're all hyped," another teammate chimed in, gesturing towards the court where Caitlin was doing press interviews

"I can see why," Aurora replied, her gaze returning to Caitlin.

After the game, Aurora stayed behind, talking with Lana and her other friends from the music industry who had also attended the game. Excited chatter filled the air, but Aurora's focused stay on one thing.

Amidst the post-game frenzy, Caitlin emerged from press interviews, a small smirk plastered on her face after the successful win. Aurora, after being heavily encouraged (if not threatened by Lana) approached Caitlin.

"Hey Caitlin, Do you mind if we take a picture" She said while smiling gently.

"I should be asking you this question, shouldn't I?" Caitlin said with a grin, stepping closer to Aurora and casually wrapping her arm around her waist.

Aurora laughed, caught off guard Caitlin's comment "Well, I was hoping I could get a picture with the record-breaker herself."

Caitlin's eyes sparkled with playful amusement. "Oh, I see how it is. Trying to steal the spotlight, huh?"
