Awkward

(A/N Sorry for the short break I was getting ready for a vacation but then we cancelled it 😭 but anyways here is chapter 3)

Zach's POV
The bell finally rang and I was sort of glad to get out of 1st period bc I was totally gonna do something embarrassing in front of Cameron. I attempted to find my locker when I hand touched my shoulder? Of course when I turn around it HAD to be Cameron out of all people. I did not want to ruin my impression on him on the first day.

"What do you mean you didn't ruin your impression at me," Cameron said followed by a little laugh. Okay cute laugh... But shit I said my thoughts out loud, I have a habit of that.

"I'm assuming you are looking for your locker right?" He said and I give a nervous nod.
"You don't have to be intimidated by me," he says and laughs," trust me we will be great friends!".
" Yea sorry" I reply... Sure I don't have to be intimidated by an I amazingly hot boy I like.
I hand him my locker number and a huge ass smile spreads across his face.
" Looks like we will be locker buddy's! Locker 123 is right next to mine!" He replies.
I let out a fake laugh. Just great I will see him every single time I go to my locker. I follow him to the locker and I get my books out.
" Hey can I see your class schedule" he asks.
" Yea sure" I fumble through my bag, " Here you go!"
He quickly examines it and another smile spread across his face.
" Also looks like we have the same classes together except for biology" he excitingly exclaims with a smirk and wink. DAMN HES CUTE!
" So what made you come here Zach"- Cam
" Well my mom decided to move after my parents got divorced so we decided on LA!" I said.
" Oh sorry to hear that but I'm glad you came"-Cam
We got to AP physics and took our boring ass class.

Cameron's POV
I saw Zach standing in the middle of the hall and decide to talk to him. I grabbed his shoulder and he turned around a little surprised. Haha he's so cute.
In the silence I hear him mumble "I dont want to ruin my impression on him."
""What do you mean you didn't ruin your impression at me," I say laughing to cover the awkwardness.
"I'm assuming your looking for your locker right?" Zach gives a nod and I notice that's he's like nervous.
"You don't have to be intimidated by me", I laugh," Trust me we will be great friends!"
He replies " Yea Sure."
I figure out that we will be locker buddies and I'm sooooooo happy that ill be standing next to this fine ass specimen when I go to my locker and also in most of my classes. YAY!!😂

( skip to the end of the school day)
*Still Cameron's POV*
" Hey! Hey! Wait up!" I yell for Zach.
"Yesssss?" He says.
" Toss me your phone" I say

I barely caught his phone but I got it and put my number in his while he puts his in mines. I put my name is "Da Bae Cameron" I toss it back to him and he laughs.
" Really? " he says while starting to walk away.
As he was walking away he was to distracted by his phone to see he was waking towards the wall edge, not the stairs.
(A/N I know that that's really random but idk what else to put)
I yells for him to stop but he seems to distracted by his phone and music so I instantly grab him buy the waist before he falls off. He spins around in once I grab him and our faces are inches apart. Wow his eyes are so dreamy and his lips look so soft. I SERIOUSLY want to kiss him soooo bad but I couldn't embarrass me or Zach in front of the school and I didn't even think Zach even likes me. I let go awkwardly and blush a bit😁. He blushes to though I wonder why. Does he like me back? No no that can't be right. It's just probably bc of the awkwardness.
"Why did you do that?"-Zach
"Umm... You were about to trip off the ledge down there..." I said awkwardly.
" Oh um well thank you!" He said smiling

He has the cutest a ass smile.

"Well I better be going then! Bye Cameron!!!" Zach's winks. I wave back a sheepish goodbye.

Zach's POV

Wow that was really awkward, but I'm glad he grabbed me before I DIED! Okay maybe a little exaggerated but we were so close together. I could literally feel his breath on my lips. I REALLY wanted to kiss him but I couldn't embarrass Cameron and his popularity. And he's not even gay I mean all the girls looks all interested in him. But wait he blushed when he let go. Maybe he might interested. No he just probably blushed since it was so weird.

"Oh um well thank you!" I said smiling.
"Well I better be going then! Bye Cameron!" I wink. He waves sheepishly, I wonder why?

I ride my penny board back home and say hi to my mom.
"How was the first day of school! Did you make any friends?" My mom ask.
"It was cool! I liked it! And...um...Yea I made a friend! His name is Cameron!" I say sorta suspiciously. My mom looks at an questioningly but of course I couldn't say " Ohh yea I like this boy Cameron bc I'm gay" Again my moms pretty homophobic.
"Ohh my boy is popular!! Well you should invite him over sometime!" My mom said.
"I Will!!!!" I yell back walking into my room upstairs.
I plop myself on my bed and start my homework. I couldn't concentrate though! I was thinking about Cameron he whole time. Haha I even accidentally wrote Cameron all over my note book 😁. I finish homework and take a little nap.
