The Beast Slayer

Volume 1

It was ordinary day for Tomoyo and his friend Kazumi as they contemplate if they want to be slayers or work's men as they are officially eighteen but the choice, they make is how the journey starts.

Tomoyo says "Kazumi" with a cold and depressed tone. As Kazumi looks at him and thinks to himself that he seems to have made his decision before finally replying yes with a confused but happy tone. Tomoyo stops and looks at Kazumi with his light blues eyes that have little to no emotion and says that he thinks that they should become slayers. Kazumi seems confused but happy of his choice "Tomoyo seems to be more interested in becoming a slayer then usually," said Kazumi.

  Tomoyo states that he just wants to end the monster race at all means necessary and that anything else is unnecessary, Kazumi then asks, "so your saying music, boxing, red, black and me are unnecessary". Tomoyo then says that everything besides those is unnecessary and that all that matters is revenge. Kazumi sighs and agrees to join the slayer Corp and that he'll help Tomoyo. They both nod and head to the slayer Corp, as they arrive at the building where you become a slayer Tomoyo gets pushed to the ground." Hey, watch it" Tomoyo says angrily as he gets up. The mysterious stranger then glares at him and says, "no magic freak watch who you're talking too" as Tomoyo hears that he begins to get angry and clenches his fist, Kazumi notices that Tomoyo is about to start a fight, and he intervenes "hey you watch it!" As he says that his fist envelopes his fist in flame.

The stranger begins to back off and Kazumi's fist flame went out "jeez disrespectful" Kazumi says to himself as he looks at Tomoyo. "You didn't have to step in Kazumi" Tomoyo says as he stands up dusting himself off, " you know i had too, what if that guy used his person on you" said Kazumi. Tomoyo asks if they should enter the slayer corp. Kazumi nods and says, "when you're ready", "always ready Kazumi" says Tomoyo. As they enter the building they head to the registration counter. "Hello sirs, how my I help you asks," the girl at the register in a happy mood, "we would like to register as slayers ma'am" they both say. "Okay what are your names and age" she asks. "I'm Jinja Tomoyo and I'm eighteen years old" Tomoyo states, "and I'm Kazumi and I'm eighteen as well". "Wait did you say Jinja?" She asks Tomoyo realizing that it's the son of Jinja Mamoru and Jinja Yōko.

"Yes, why you ask?" Tomoyo asks her to wonder if she knew them, "you're the son of the victims of the recent dungeon breaks I'd also like to say that your mother and father were slayers as well" states the girl. "They were slayers?" Tomoyo says as he is shocked of the fact that his parents were slayers since they were against him becoming one when they were alive. "Yes, they were, and they told me to register you in a lay by since they knew you would come and join the slayer corp. says the girl.

"So that means only Kazumi as the register?" Tomoyo asks. "Yes, so I'll just register him in quickly" she says as she starts to type on the computer and after a few hours she finishes.

"Okay so you are registered in Sir Kazumi and now you two are F ranked slayers, to go up in ranks you have to complete quests and missions" she states. They both nod and leave the building now being full fledge slayers. "Kazumi, we made it, we're now slayers" Tomoyo says with a grin on his face, as Kazumi nods and states that they should begin to get a higher ranking.

Tomoyo nods and they both head towards the quest board and they both pick a F rank dungeon to take down and earn some money. As they arrive at the dungeon two other slayers are standing there and the one is the man who shoved Tomoyo "what the hell you doing here " Tomoyo asks angrily and clenches his fist and tilts his head."what does it matter to you" yells the man. "So, you're a F rank slayer and you keep yourself like a, A rank" says Tomoyo with a smug voice.

"don't get cocky, I still have a persona, and you don't" says the man as yellow sparks surround him. "Like I care I've broken bones of people with personas" states Tomoyo as his cracks his knuckles. 

"Shut up both of you" yells the other people and it seems to be a girl. Both Tomoyo and the man stop talking and look at her." we are a team so introduce yourselves" she says with a warm smile, that makes Kazumi blush. "Fine, I'm Jinja Tomoyo" he says reluctantly. "I-I'm Denki Shima" says the man now known as Shima. "I'm Miyamoto Kazumi" says Kazumi blushing because he finds her cute.

"It's nice to meet you all I'm Arata Aiko" says the girl known as Aiko. "Shall we get this started" says Tomoyo. They all nod and look at the dungeon entrance. "stay back and let the ones with a persona handle this" says Shima "LIKE HELL! "yells Tomoyo, as Aiko and Kazumi chuckle.
