With the final slash of a katana, a woman put both katana’s in their sheath behind her back. “HEY, HURRY UP OVER THERE!”
The other man stood there while scrolling through a tablet. From out of his backpack were two metal arms that were fighting off more people coming at him.
“COME ON!”
“Of course, M’lady.” He nodded, his ears perking up as he jumped away from the enemies coming at him.
He went silent to concentrate as two chi blasts formed in the robot hands. The two then slammed the ends of their hands together to combine them, making it much more powerful. Their enemies didn't even have a chance to run away the second he shot the chi blast at all of them, engulfing them in it.
Once the chi blast was done, the arms lowered and looked around. Everything became much more empty without their enemies being alive.
“Phew.” He wiped off his forward but kept a grin. “I overdid it but I am proud of myself. Making those hands to transfer my own energy was a good idea, wasn't it?”
The woman with him took no note of his talking. “Mhm.”
“Ah. So I was ignored by you.”
“You know the drill. Make sure nobody’s alive. The last thing we need is for one of them to report back to her.”
“Of course, M’lady.” He walked over to the few remaining bodies that were there.
He didn't have to do too much to make sure they were dead. A kick to the arm or torso with no response told him all he needed to. His ears lowered in relaxation and he yawned right after, looking at the sky. The sun slowly began to set and he knew it was going to get much darker soon.
“Damn…” The woman swayed back and forth for a second, almost falling off.
One of the robot arms came out and quickly caught her, the wolf chuckling. “A good invention, is it not?”
“Don't even…”
“That little seal takes a lot out of you…I'll soon figure out a way to get it off you.”
Being reminded of it made her look at her wrist. There was a metal bracelet around her wrist that showed how tight it was against her skin.
She stared at it with contempt in her eyes. “Shut up.”
The wolf chuckled, his tail swaying from amusement. “I'll figure out how to get that thing off you and that's a promise.”
“You're the one who made it.”
“...Like I said, I'll figure out how to get it off you.”
“Didn't I already tell you to shut up?”
“Of course. I'm willing to listen to whatever you tell me to do.”
After saying that, he kept to his word and it did go quiet. He began walking, the woman staying on the hand. His eyes were kept on her for a bit to make sure she didn't fall off or pass out since that was the last thing he wanted to happen.
The woman closed her eyes to think to herself. “Where should we try looking next?”
“I'm willing to look wherever you want.” His response came out, though she got annoyed by it. “Your wish is my command, M’lady.”
“I'm getting really tired of being called ‘m’lady,’ did you know that?”
“I can't imagine myself calling you by your real name. I didn't back then and I won't now.”
