The camera tilts down to a open part of the desert, where, perched above a sand mountain on top of a horse, Emperor Belos, ruler of the Boiling Isles, and founder of the Coven system with his demon assistant named Kikimora are waiting, while from the shadows, a rather disheveled man rides towards them. The newcomer, Gazeem, steps off his horse and looks up to the two.
Belos: You... are late.
Gazeem: (bowing) A thousand apologies, O Patient One.
Belos: You have it, then?
Gazeem: I had to slit a few throats, but I got it. (He pulls out a medallion: the half of a Golden Scarab.)

Emperor Belos reaches out for it, but Gazeem yanks it back.
Gazeem: Ah-ah-ahhh. (holding out his free hand) The treasure.
Kikimora appears behind him and grabs the medallion.
Gazeem: Ow!
Belos: Trust me, my pungent friend. You'll get what's coming to you.
Emperor Belos pulls out the second half of the medallion.
