"white boy, you gotta better chance at death then you leavin' me"
_______________

"He's in a better place now," Mary told Kristen, they'd stood in front of the church as I leaned on the car.

Kristen was a fake acquaintance of ours.

Her boyfriend just died and she'd been taking it hard.

Got caught, wrong place wrong time.

Fucked up situation.

Mary approached me, her bag in hand and her smile dropping.

I let out a small laugh and got inside the car.

Starting it up and we began heading back to the studio.

"That bitch is so fake," She rolled her eyes, taking off her church hat.

"Her boyfriend just died," I rolled my eyes.

"No incorrect. Her ex - boyfriend died. He broke up with her like a month before he passed," She rolled her eyes.

"How do you even know all that," I ask.

"She stay running her mouth," She laughed.

Mary was a gossip, which come in hand 99% of the time.

Mary's phone rang as I made a left turn.

"Hey," She says, putting it on speaker.

"You with Kim," Dre asked, direct.

"Hi Dre," I say annoyed.

"Yea yea, start answering your phone for i fuck you up," he says.

"I was in church asshole," I cursed.

"A hoe in church," He joked.

"What do you want Dre," I asked.

"Make sure your at this release party, or that's your ass Kim," He said, more serious.

The last release party of mine i couldn't make it, it was an emergency to say the least.

"Nigga i'm on my way, cool your jets," I say.

"Alright, see you," he said, hanging up the phone.

"You fucking Dre," Mary asked, voice high and eyes wide.
