Like Mother Like Daughter

Part 10: Finale

Friday morning Dave was left to fend for himself as Mom and Erica were
first in line when DPS opened at 8:00am, 30 minutes later mom and Erica
were on their way to breakfast and Erica had a new driver's license in
the name of Erica Antoinette Lombardo held secure in her new Louis
Vuitton wallet. The girls are in a festive mood and head to Sweet Paris
Cręperie & Café where they each order a Café Latte. After looking at the
menu Mom orders a Bonne Maman crepe (spread of cherry, strawberry, red
currant & raspberry preserves, with sweet cream). Erica decides to try
the Allison's Parfait crepe (Vanilla low-fat yogurt, bananas,
strawberries, granola, toasted almonds, & a drizzle of honey). The girls
enjoy a leisurely breakfast, while they enjoy their crepes Erica reminds
her mom, what Sheila had said on Sunday about coming back for a few more
lipstick and eyeshadow colors.

Mom, "Oh honey I had forgot, your lipstick and eyeshadow palette is
really for daytime looks. We need to find you a bolder lipstick and more
eyeshadow colors so you can create fun nighttime looks. I'll text Sheila
to see if she is available and Donna to pull a few club dresses."

Sheila text back and says she is available at 10:00 when the store opens
and Donna texts back saying she will pull a few dresses as soon as she
gets to the store. To save time mom tells Erica to go see Sheila as soon
as Nordstrom opens, and she will go check on Donna and help look for
dresses if needed. When the girls get to Nordstroms they separate as
planned, Erica meets Sheila in front of the MAC counter as planned.

Erica, "Hi Sheila."

Sheila, "Honey you get prettier every time I see you. What can I help
you with today?"

Erica, "Oh Sheila you're so sweet. I love you skirt. I'm going out with
some new friends tonight to a dance club, mom is up with Donna pulling
some club dresses for me to try on. On Sunday you suggested for me to
come back to get a few more lip and eyeshadow colors. So that's what I
need help with."

Sheila, "Ok let me grab a few things from MAC and maybe a Guerlain
lipstick or two and we can go back to my cosmetic studio and try a few
things."

Sheila takes about 5 minutes and she and Erica head back to Sheila's
cosmetic studio.

Sheila, "Ok baby I pulled mostly MAC products like I told you on Sunday,
it's relatively inexpensive, it's good quality and they have the best
selection of lip and eye colors. I did pull one Guerlain lip color I
want you to try. Erica wipes off her lips stick and applies Guerlain
Rouge G Satin Longwear Lipstick in Deep Rosewood.

Erica, "Oh Sheila it's lovely, I feel so pretty wearing it."

Sheila Laughing, "Baby, that's why us girls wear makeup, to feel pretty
and drive the boys crazy. OK so that's a keeper?"

Erica, "Yes Absolutely."

Sheila, "OK here's the first MAC color I want you to try it's called
Ruby Woo, it's my nighttime fav when I want to be noticed. MAC is very
popular with college age girls because they have great colors, and the
cost will not send you to the poor house."

Erica, "Oh my Sheila I love this one too."

Sheila, "Keeper?"

Erica, "Absolutely, I may wear this one tonight."

Sheila, "Ok we have your signature red, let's see if we can find you a
pretty pink. Let's try these two Syrup and Pigment of Your Imagination."
