As Rahim entered his grandfather's study, the somber atmosphere hung thick in the air.

Adil Shaikh, his expression unreadable, motioned for Rahim to take a seat.

Rahim complied, his demeanor cold and composed, betraying none of the turmoil within.

Seated opposite his grandfather, Rahim spoke in a measured tone, devoid of emotion.

"Give me your word that you will not harm my wife and my daughter. After I marry Jannat. Not a single scratch on them. If any harm comes to them, I will personally dismantle this Shaikh empire, and you will spend your remaining days on the street."

Adil regarded Rahim with a raised eyebrow, weighing his words carefully. After a moment's pause, he simply replied,

"Okay."

With that terse acknowledgment, Rahim rose from his seat, the weight of their exchange heavy on his shoulders.

Exiting the study, he made his way back to their room, steeling himself for the difficult conversation ahead with Zara.

Entering the room, Rahim's gaze fell upon the heartwarming sight of Zara tenderly feeding their daughter.

Despite the heaviness in his heart, a flicker of warmth touched his eyes at the sight of his two precious ones.

However, he quickly diverted his attention, striding into the closet to change his clothes.

Even though his focus was on the task at hand, he couldn't shake the feeling of Zara's eyes tracking his every move, her silent presence weighing heavily on him.

Coming out of the closet, Rahim's gaze met Zara's, who was already watching him.

The air between them was heavy with tension as he uttered in a cold voice, his stoic demeanor betraying no emotion,

"I'm getting married again."

Zara's heart dropped at his words, her eyes widening in disbelief and pain.

She opened her mouth to speak, but no words came out as Rahim turned away, unable to bear the weight of her reaction.

With a heavy heart, he left the room, leaving Zara alone with her shattered emotions.

Alone in the room, Zara's priority shifted to her daughter's well-being. After ensuring her little one was peacefully asleep, she gently placed her on the bed, surrounded by pillows for safety.

With a tender gaze, she watched her daughter for a moment, her heart heavy with unspoken emotions.

Seeking solace, Zara retreated to the bathroom, allowing the soothing cascade of water to mask the sound of her tears.

In the quiet sanctuary of the shower, she let herself release the pent-up anguish, the warm water mingling with her tears as they flowed freely down her cheeks.

After a while, the intensity of her emotions began to wane, replaced by a sense of calmness. Zara took a deep breath, her resolve strengthening as she regained her composure.

Drying her tears, she emerged from the shower, feeling emotionally drained but more composed than before.

Quietly slipping into fresh clothes, Zara resolved to focus on caring for her daughter, regardless of the turmoil in her heart.

With a heavy sigh, she resigned herself to the idea of Rahim being with Jannat, choosing to prioritize her own well-being and that of her child.
