Ring ring ring!!!
I groaned as I moved my hands to turn off the alarm who the fuck puts alarm on a Sunda- wait wait wait shit ughh thinking why I put the alarm and realising I need to get out of the bed made me groan again. I need to get ready, I patted my face and  head inside the shower. I quickly got ready and went downstairs. My eyes fell on my beautiful mother, oops no no Miss Swarna Mittal she's 47 but still she hates it when I call her mom instead of her name because according to her it's old fashioned and c'mon she's obviously young and beautiful. I took steps towards her and backhugged her," good morning Miss beautiful." She softly patted my cheek," good morning aaj itni jaldi kaise uth gya?" She asked while serving me the breakfast. "Aise hi." I said casually as I shrugged and sat down to have breakfast. After I was done I left the house and drove straight to Aadhya's.

I rang the bell lightly and aunty opened the door. "Hello pretty lady." I winked at her. She laughed and hit me lightly. I chuckled and walk passed her,"Where's Aadhya?"
"In her room." Aunty replied while disappearing into the kitchen. I rapidly made my way towards her room. I knocked on it and waited, few moments passed but I got no response. I knocked again,                       " Aadhy-" the sound of door opening cut me off. I found an sleepy and messy Aadhya standing there being irritated by the noise I made. I gave her a odd look,"what?" She raged in annoyance. Can she ever calm her anger down? obviously not." Get ready we're going out." I said. " I'm not going anywhere."she walked towards her bed and slept again. She's the same girl who calls me a lazy bean. I pulled the blanket away from her." Kyu pareshan kar Raha hai? Lemme sleep." She tucked her face into the pillow. I shook my head," chal na wake up please!" She huffed and sat straight, rubbing her eyes. " Okay fine. You go, I'll be there in 5 mins." I nodded and left the room.

She came just after a few minutes. Meanwhile other girls would have taken another hour to get ready, Aadhya makes it real quick. She's super simple and yet as beautiful as anyone could be. "Chalein?" She asked sounding as uninterested as she could be. She can never change. Period. We head out of the house and got inside the car. " Westside?" I asked her approval. She just tilted her head and nodded through her eyes. I started to drive.

I turned on the music to lighten up the environment of the car because it was oddly silent. Few minutes passed she didn't say anything infact she isn't even paying attention, she's just looking outside the window. I could sense something is off. She never seems this lost," Aadhya." I uttered serenely. She didn't say anything infact she's completely lost in her own labyrinth it felt as if she's looking for some unknown answers in the blue, cold sky with a smallest of hope. I sighed and put a hand on her shoulder to get her back in her sense, " Hmm? What happened?" Her eyes turned slushy swiftly. " Are you okay?" I asked out of concern," I'm fine jay." She said a bit more calmly than usual. She's everything but okay and I could sense it pretty well. But I also know she won't share it with anyone she likes to keep it to herself and neither I wanna know something against her will, so I just nodded.  "You know I'm there right?you can tell me if anything happens."she breathed harshly and nodded  in agreement.

After a while she suddenly narrowed her eyes at me,"what?" I shrugged off.
"You know what being this sweet doesn't suits you. You're better off being a headache." She fake glared at me." Ohh please I'm always this sweet tu hi notice nahi karti." I said proudly looking in the mirror. She shot me a death glare to which I laughed shaking my head in disbelief. She'll never stop taunting me. She too started to laugh with me. I'm relieved atleast she's smiling.

We exit the car together, " here we are." I said to myself. " And why we're here?" I gave her a bored look of course to shop and eat. "C'mon wildcat it's been a month since  we've had hang out together and plus we'll also shop for the prom night." To which she rolled her eyes irritatingly. " I already told you I'm not going to prom night." I spoke to protest "but-"
"Okay fine Let's go inside." She scoffed. Typical aadhya Verma.

We shopped for a while well not shop it was basically me forcing her to atleast buy something but she as always refused. After an enternity of struggle finally she liked a basic white crop top which "according to her" was a off beige crop top. I mean dude it's same as white but of course girls. Thank fucking god atleast she selected something.

"Let's go and eat something now I haven't even had breakfast tu mujhe aise hi le aaya." Aadhya said, So we walked off towards the food court to get something to eat. I held the bags in my hand it wasn't even bag because obviously she shopped nothing except the top I sometimes wonder is she even a girl? I mean which girl doesn't like shopping? Of course miss Aadhya Verma. We settled down on our seats and gave our orders.

It was almost evening when we reached near our car. I put the bag on the backseat and turn on the car by the keys. Suddenly my eyes caught a couple. The girl was gifting him a beautiful portrait. " Dekh unhe tune mujhe diya aaj tak aisa koi gift?" I snorted at her, showing her fake anger. " I have a better gift idea for you." She smiled sarcastically. " What?" I asked being excited. " A brain." I shot back a half glared face at her.
" Hahaha very funny"
" Hassle phir." She smiled and sat inside the car.

On the way to home I turned on the music and coincidencely it was our favourite song. We silently listened to it as we reach her house. I stopped the car and she turned to move out,"Tomorrow is result declaration tujhe yaad hai na?" She hummed. I nodded, " don't be late tomorrow and take care." She smiled softly as she locked the door behind her. I watched her walk towards the house but then she turned back and mouthed a thank you to me. I smiled and nodded and drove to home.
