There can be no courage unless you are scared. —Eddie Rickenbacker

AMELIA SAT ON THE COUCH WRITING ANOTHER LETTER TO AARON.

This one shorter than the others. Jack had began walking slowly. Well wobbling really. Yet he was yet to speak his first word, wobbling really was a milestone in his life.

"Dear Aaron,

I know this is the third letter this week but something crazy happened! Jackson Gideon Hotchner (our son) took his first steps! Well not really steps but he's wobbling but as you know wobbling leads to walking.

I think he's getting close to saying his first words. His babbling sometimes sounds like little no's.

He doesn't know it yet but he misses you. Just as much as I miss you. I hope you guys catch Foyet soon enough so I can give you this letter. So we can come home. I think I'll go crazy if I keep writing you.

Amelia paused erasing her last sentence as she shook her head.

Keep it positive she thought to herself.

Amelia halted as she felt something hit her leg. She looked up finding Jack rolling another ball towards her foot.

His face held a big smile as he looked up at her. "Oh Jackie, you wanna play?" Amelia giggled softly as she placed her paper and pen near her on the couch and grabbed her phone snapping a quick photo of him before she joined him on the ground.

Blowing raspberries to his stomach as he squealed.

"Come on let's go finish daddy's letter." Amelia sat up pulling Jack into her lap as he muttered something.

"Dada."

Amelia's head snapped into her lap. "Jackie? Did you just say dada?" The little boy turned his head yawning.

"Oh no you don't." Amelia reached her hand for her phone. "Come on Jackie say that again for the camera."

The little boy looked dazingly at the camera before he yawned again.

Amelia groaned placing her phone down. "Sorry if I'm boring you. I just wanted to show daddy you said your first words."

The same mutter slipped out of Jacks lips again his eyes closing as he rested his head on Amelia's stomach who looked dumbfounded. "Okay that was just rude! Now you gotta say it again for the camera!"
