"Some nights are made for torture, or reflection, or the savoring of loneliness." — Poppy Z. Brite

IT HAD BEEN a week since Amelia had began her medication. She hadn't been able to leave her bed.

Before Aaron had left he had tried to tell her how important it was to eat and take her medication.

Amelia wondered why everything bad was happening to her, what had she done to cause this. Why couldn't she have a baby?

Aaron had to leave for a case so he had left her alone for a few days, he was worried for his wife as she had stopped answering his calls.

Amelia hadn't been able to stop crying. She cried everyday for being a disappointment. She and Aaron were devastated when she had her miscarriage, they had grieved together and now she felt like she couldn't do that, Aaron was too busy she couldn't bother him.

She had spent a majority of the week in bed crying herself to sleep. She just wished Aaron was with her. She wished that he didn't put work over her.

She wished that he didn't leave again.

Aarons POV

Aaron sat on the plane his mind racing. As he pretended to do paperwork to keep his mind off his wife.

Gideon had noticed the distant look his face had. And as a profiler he could only come up with one explanation, his wife.

He knew Hotch wasn't the one to talk about his feelings, and he wasn't one to talk to people about their feelings, but that didn't mean he wouldn't give it a shot. "What's on your mind?"

Hotch looked up at him. "What?"

"You're distracted, you've been distracted this whole case, what's the matter?"

"Jason-"

Gideon stopped him before he got the chance to lie. "Hotch, I'm a profiler, one of the best, there's no point in lying to me."

Aaron looked around the plane to find a majority of the team asleep, the only person being awake was Reid who was clearly occupied in another book.

"Fine, don't talk to me as a profiler, talk to me as your friend." Hotch and Gideon had been through a lot together.

Aaron sighed as he placed the paperwork work in his lap. "It's Amelia, before the case we found out some news and." He paused taking a deep breath. "I'm worried about her, she hasn't been answering my calls, she's been really distant and has been pushing me away so I'm ready for this plane to land so I can head home."
