There I am. Sitting in the rusty, old, medal chair in the detention room. I always end up here at least once by the end of the week. At least I'm popular here. At least I--"hello delinquents." Ms. Robbins interrupts my train of thought. I'm laid back in my chair looking as thrilled as I always am in detention. "We have a new student who already found her way into detention." Ms. Robbins continued while gritting her teeth in frustration. "Everyone meet Taylor." Ms. Robbins gives her a nudge and shuts the door. I sit up in my seat. "Oh so you're the new girl? I've heard good things about you." I say. " I'm Baeley." Taylor sits down and kicks her feet up on the empty chair in front of her. " What kind of good things?" Taylor turns showing off her gorgeously long dark brown hair stuffed into her beanie. " idk like your detention record." I joke. Taylor smiles. "Would you mind showing me around tomorrow at school? I don't know anyone here." I smile and look at the floor then at Taylor. "Are you asking me to be your friend?!" "Hey why not." Says Taylor. The bell rings. "Meet me at the front door at 8:40 tomorrow morning." I get up and walk towards the door. "Ok." She says. We both leave and the rest of the people in detention follow close behind.
