Chapter 4

Becky is so surprised to see Freen walking out from one of the buildings. She is talking with someone. She is supposed to go inside her car already, but suddenly Freen looked towards her direction and also seemed surprised to see her.

So she decided to go where Freen is.

Hey, not expecting to see you here, Ms. Armstrong. Freen said surprised

Me as well, Ms. Anantrukul. Becky replied.

By the way, this is Ms. Kade, she is the director of this school. Freen introduced her companion to Becky.

Hi Ms. Kade. Nice to meet you. Becky. Becky sweetly said.

Nice to meet you, too, Ms. Armstrong. Kade shook hands with Becky.

Oh too formal, just Becky please. Becky said

Kade nodded. After the introduction, Kade excused her self since she needs to attend to some students still.

Freen and Becky were left alone.

So, Ms. Armstrong, why this school? Freen curiously asked

I attended most of my preschool and grade school here. Just wanted to visit and see how it is now. Becky answered

Really? Glad to hear that the school have produced one of the best architect in the world. Freen said with all pride i. Her eyes.

Becky got shy with Freen's comment.

Oh, stop it, Freen. Becky smiled.

But on the other hand, I'm glad to see you here. Freen continued.

Glad I was allowed to come inside. The guards are a bit too strict. Becky jokingly said.

Glad to know they are. Freen replied. 

You know what, why don't we go around. I'll give you a quick tour. Freen suggest.

As they go around the area, Freen had an idea that she wanted to share with Becky, but is not sure that it's okay with her. 

This area and building would look much better with some renovations. It's starting to show signs of wear and tear, and it's becoming outdated, Becky said 

Freen smiled because she felt Becky read her mind. 

It's almost as if you can read my mind, Ms. Armstrong. I've been contemplating renovating this area too. Freen replied with a sweet smile on her face. 

You're considering? Does that mean you own the school? Becky asked, surprised by Freen's response.

Freen just gave her a smile and she nodded. 

This school was supposed to be closed a while ago. One of the shareholders mentioned it to me. But this place holds special memories for me, so I decided to delve into its financials. Surprisingly, it still showed promise, needing only a few upgrades. So, I made the decision to invest in it. And now, here it is, making progress and thriving, she explained.

When Freen mentioned the special memories attached to the school, Becky felt a twinge of recognition, as she shared the same sentiment. The school would always hold a special place in her heart, too. Meeting Alex within these walls was one of her happiest moments.

Then Freen spoke, snapping Becky back to the present. Could you share more about your childhood memories of this school? Freen asked

Becky begun to smile and started to remember all her beautiful encounter with Alex.
