NINE♡

I woke up pretty early to the smell of breakfast. I put on a pair of sweat pants and walked out of my room. I saw Jay making breakfast for us. I walked up to him and side hugged him. I didn't have a shirt on because it was pretty hot in the kitchen while we cooked. Jay hugged me back, putting his head on my shoulder. " Do you need any help?" I asked. "I'm almost done with the food. Can you get the plates out, though?" Jay said, letting me go.

I grabbed two plates out of the cabinet and placed them on the counter next to Jay. I walked to the table, waiting for Jay to bring the food out. I texted Lily, telling her what time we would be at the resort. When Jay brought the food out, I put my phone down. I started to eat feeling super hungry, and the food smelled so good. "This is super good, Jay," I said, smiling at him. Jay seemed a little out of it, so I tried to cheer him up. "Thanks, sweetheart." Jay said, looking at me like he was trying to find something in my eyes. "Jay, what's up, man? Are you alright?" I asked him, raising my eyebrow. Jay stared at me for a second and said, " How are you feeling about seeing Tae?" I was a little surprised at his sudden question. "I'm a little scared, to be honest," I haven't seen him in years, so i dont know how hard it will hit me.

"You know we don't have to go, right?" he asked, staring directly into my eyes. "Yeah, I know. I'll be fine. It's only three days." I said, stuttering a little because of his eye contact. "Alright, but just know I'm here, and you can talk to me whenever something goes wrong." Jay said a little concerned. Jay started eating his breakfast now. We started talking about what we wanted to do at the resort. We got done eating, and Jay told me we were leaving in two hours and I needed to start packing. When I was done packing, I went to the bathroom to change and brush my teeth. I heard my phone ring so I went back to my room to see who was calling me. I answered right away when I saw Chan was calling. We talked on the phone about me not telling him about the trip. I felt bad. Chan sounded upset over the phone. I said sorry a few times, and then we started talking about other things.

While we were talking, Jay called for me to come on and that we had to leave. I told Chan a quick goodbye and then hung up. I grabbed my small suitcase and walked to the taxi we were taking to the airport.

When we got to the airport It was pretty empty. We made our way to the gate and waited for the people to get out of the plane. I texted Changbin to let him know I'll be on the plane. Jay and I got seats next to each other. I fell asleep on the plane with my head on Jay's shoulder. Jay always got a window seat because he was never able to sleep on the plane.

When we landed, Lily picked us up and drove us to the resort. The resort was beautiful. There was an indoor pool and outside pool. The lobby had breakfast and leather couchs. We made our way to the front desk to get our room keys. Lily told us we weren't sharing a room with each other, which I was pretty upset about. Jay and I walked to the elevator together. I got out on the 4th floor. "room 414. 414." I said, mumbling to myself to find my room number. When I found it, I got my room key out and unlocked the door. The room was big with 2 beds. There were suitcases on one of the beds, which I assumed belonged to one of my old classmates. I placed my suitcase next to my bed.

I hopped on the bed and got my phone out of my pocket. I texted my brother to let him know I made it safely. I texted Chan to tell him I'm at the resort. He replied quickly, and we started texting each other. Jay texted me, informing me that we all had to be in the lobby in 10 minutes. I texted Chan a goodbye, and he replied, saying that he would call me later. I couldn't help but smile looking at the text. "What are you smiling at? Do you have a new boyfriend?" A familiar voice cut my happiness in half. My smile dropped seeing Jen again. "Why so you can sleep with him as well?" I said, giving her a death stare. "Not my fault you can't keep a man. How's Chan, by the way, you think you can set me up with him?" She said, laughing with a wicked feeling to it. She knew about my crush on Bangchan. When I was a senior, I told Jay about my crush on Chan.
