part 9. daisies

"where are you!?" The blonde whisper-yelled on his phone while pacing around in a corner of his house "please wait for a bit more, I'll be there soon" the guy from other line spoke "okay fine, drive safe" he said and hung up the call and sighed as he walked to the living room

"He said he will be there in a bit" Felix said "why are you so nervous sweetie? It's absolutely okay if your friend will be here little late" Jungkook said to his younger son who seemingly looked nervous, it was evident as he unknowningly paced around the living room, waiting for his friend

"No, its just- whatever" Felix said. If you ask him, he felt like he was about to go to principal's office with his parents after getting bad grades in his test but he still didn't know why he was that nervous. He met this guy who is his soulmate just a few days ago, not even a few days but just day before yesterday and he is now introducing that handsome lad to his parents too now. Weird if you ask

Felix just exhaled his breath to calm himself down and settled down beside his papa "don't be nervous, lixxie" Taehyung said to the blonde as he nodded and now Minho finally came out of his room to the living room

The sound of doorbell ringing echoed in the house as Felix- without making it obvious that he felt like he waited thousands of years for that danm bell to ring- got up and approached the door

There stood the handsome lad he was non-stop thinking about just now, looking perfect as ever. Felix welcomed him inside the house as he sided a bit to let the older come in. Hyunjin came in the house and firstly greeted Felix's parents with a formal bow

"You don't have to act formal and all around us, dear" said the man with bunny-like features

"It's just my habit now, to greet the elders in formal way" Hyunjin said with his smile "I'm not that old to be called elder" Taehyung said, making the people in the room chuckle

"Papa, Dad. This is hyunjin, Hyunjin, these are my papa and Dad" Felix introduced "he is my older brother, Minho" Felix said pointing at the man with cat-like features, just like there is a cat trapped in a human body

"Nice to meet you, Minho sshi" Hyunjin said "nice to meet you too, hyunjin. You can call me hyung or Minho hyung" Minho said. If this guy was not the younger's friend, he wouldn't have even batted an eye towards him but he now has to show some interest as he is friends with his younger brother and Felix too knew that clearly

"Hyunjin, have a seat please" Felix's dad said as Hyunjin nodded and took a seat on the armchair while Felix sat beside Taehyung on the couch who now was in middle of Felix and jungkook whike Minho was sitting on the armchair on the other side of the couch

"So, I heard that you are the son of the CEO of the real estate company?" Taehyung first asked to Hyunjin as he nodded "yes, I am. It's pretty tiring being one but i guess i don't mind working there" Hyunjin said as Taehyung hummed

"I'll bring snacks" Felix said out loud and went to bring snacks for everyone. This scenario looks like hyunjin had come here to say that Felix is his boyfriend and wants to marry him. But everyone, let it be anyone that has firstly came into this house has been treated like this. Don't get them wrong but Felix's parents just want everyone that are in touch with them to make feel comfortable around them

But little do they know that Hyunjin is literally Felix's soulmate

"The snacks are here!" Felix said as he put the snack tray on the coffee table so anyone can eat them

Felix was the first one to pick up one of the snacks and then Minho followed, everyone else started to pick the snacks they liked one after one with random conversations going on in the air as the atmosphere soon lightened

"I'll take Hyunjin to my room if you allow me to" Felix said as he gazed at his parents "ofcourse, why not?" Jungkook said and Taehyung nodded, giving his permission too. The younger two guys got out of the living room as Felix lead Hyunjin to his room

"This is my room" Felix announced to older as he looked around to the room

It was painted of pastel blue colour with the bed at the centre of the room, there was a balcony at the right where several plants were placed which Hyunjin didn't even know the names of but he did saw daisies there in middle of all the plants, highlighted as it was placed in a different pot from the other plants. He then moved his eyes away to see the room further where there was a gaming setup placed with all needed materials for felix to play the games

Beside the bed on the nightstand was placed a family photo of Felix and his family while on the other side of the table, there was a small vase of artificial daisy flowers placed on the other nightstand

"You like daisies, don't you?" Hyunjin asked to younger as he jolted out of his mind at a sudden question after a period of silence. He chuckled and replied "yes, it's kind of obvious" he looked around his room where daisies were evident

"I loved daisies since I was a child. They are just beautiful" he said with a wide, genuine, pretty smile which Hyunjin loved to be evident of

"Just like you..."

This quote of the older made the blonde shot his head towards him and look at him with doe eyes which questioned that what he heard was true or it was just the wind teasing him to fluster him, the way the older smiled at him did tell him that it was real and his ears didn't trick him

He immidiatly looked down shyly after comprehending the sentence that came out of Hyunjin's lips without any hesitation. 'Just like you...' He repeated in his mind, fangirling over a simple quote like a school girl

"Thankyou" Felix said as Hyunjin chuckled at him "actually no" Hyunjin said as the younger looked at him, again with confusion as Hyunjin confidently took a step closer to Felix and placed his palm on his cheek

"You look prettier, the prettiest actually. Your freckles make you unique, in a good way. You are the most beautiful being I have seen, I have probably told this to you but I will keep telling you this my whole life"

Heart busting out of ribcage, words trapped in his throat, his face going red as a tomato. All the filmy, cheesy stuff Felix was experiencing now with Hyunjin's words which were now tattooed in his mind in no time, each word playing very clearly in his mind very clearly

Hyunjin's condition too was not very different, it was hard to muster up the strength in himself and say it out loud to Felix while being this close which made him go crazy, saying how beautiful he looked while looking at his beauty itself but he did somehow say it all without stuttering
