6. Insecure Feeling

Karishma had spent a whole week with her sister, Haseena, and she didn't want to leave. But today was her last day because her parents insisted she return home right away. Sitting on the bed, tears welled up in Karishma's eyes at the thought of leaving. It's not that she doesn't like being at home or that she hates her parents. She loves them dearly. But there's something about being with her sister that makes her feel so special. Whenever she thinks about leaving Haseena, her heart races like a speeding bullet, wondering when they'll meet again. Lost in her thoughts, Karishma sat silently, gazing out at the hill in front of their house. Meanwhile, Haseena, who had just come out of the washroom, noticed Karishma's sombre expression.

Haseena came towards Karishma and hugged her tightly, by which Karishma felt good.

Karishma packed her bag with reluctance and then got ready. They both headed to the parking area, where Karishma went to open the door of the front seat, her usual spot beside Haseena. But as she opened the door, she noticed that Haseena's bestie, Shivani, had arrived there.

Karishma reluctantly took her seat in the back of the car, forcing a fake smile. Haseena dropped Shivani at her workplace, while Haseena and Karishma drove to the office, as it was morning time. Karishma had her class in the evening, so she planned to go home directly from there.

Karishma sat in Haseena's cabin for the next four hours, observing the constant stream of people coming in and out for work-related matters, as well as chatting with Haseena. Throughout that time, Haseena received numerous calls from her cousins, sisters, friends, and her bestie, Shivani. Haseena often spent her free moments engaging in conversations with them, as she did daily.

karishma was thinking of this when afterwards it was her class time so she got up and headed towards the door to go to the classes.

Haseena and Karishma headed downstairs together, with Karishma hoping to have a conversation with Haseena. However, just as they descended, Haseena received a call from Shivani and got caught up in the conversation, leaving Karishma waiting for her attention.
