Kathryn's POV
What a happy life I'm living right now.
A perfect fiancée, a car, a mansion, understandable parents and a perfect career. And not to mention 4 number 1 singles.
My life is perfect, isn't it?
Well that's what you think.
Come to think of it, a "perfect life" doesn't exist, because that's what you call life.
Wait...did that make any sense?
Now back to the point, there is no perfect life. I may be happy but deep inside, there's something missing.
Him.
The guy that broke my heart.
I shook my head.
Forget about him, Kath.
Yes, I am so happy and in love with my fiancée, Dylan, but then again, a part of me misses him.
Wanna know who he is?
He's Daniel Padilla. He's the reason I am who I am now.
And just to clarify, I don't want to "get back" with him. Hell no. I just wanna see him again.
A part of me says; "he hurt you, Kath." And there's another part of me saying; "Give him a chance."
Sigh.
Why do things have to be so damn complicated?
"Hello! Earth to Kath!" My fiancée snaps at me.
"Oh. Sorry, hon. What's up?"
"You're thinking about him....again." He whispered.
"Pardon?"
He coughed awkwardly.
"Oh nothing. Our wedding planner is calling us."
And out of the blue, Mrs. Robinson came.
"Hello, Dylan. Hello Kath."
"Hi Mrs. Robinson." We greeted in unison.
"You two sound way too formal." She laughed. "Just call me Jade."
"Sure, Mrs Robinson...I mean...Jade." I giggled. Isn't my fiancée cute?
"Ok. Let's get this over with."
After a few hours, we finished our planning. Well, just the planning at least.
"Finally," I whispered.
"You tired, hon?"
"A little bit but I'll be fine." I replied while giving my sweetest smile.
"Let's go then?"
"Sure."
He grabbed my hand then we went to the parking lot.
And then.......
What the heck is he doing here in New York?!
"Hon, please hide me."
"But-"
"Just hide me please."
He grabbed me gently then put his coat on my head then we headed to his car. Which is a Ferrari, I may add.
And yes, I saw him.
Daniel Padilla.
Daniel John Ford Padilla is in New York.
