We had been dancing and talking the night away at George's party that was being held at his apartment in Monaco. I got the chance to meet his girlfriend Carmen, who was the personification of elegance.
Once she found out Charles and I were an item, she gave me multiple tips on how to deal with everything if we ever decide to become public with it. I was so insanely grateful for her advice and I couldn't help but admire her.
"How you can balance all of this on top of being a business woman, I have no idea!" I mention in awe of it all.
"Excuse me? That's coming from a literal tennis player?! Plus, us women are amazing at multitasking" she chuckles. I watch her eyes land on George who is standing across the room in deep conversation with Charles. "I love him what can I say? All of it's worth it really."
"Yeah. It definitely is," I agree with happiness, locking eyes with Charles who gives me a soft smile.
I notice Lewis heading our way and I beckon him over. He stands next to me, giving me a hug from the side. "Hey ladies. Carmen, any chance I could steal Aria for a minute?" he asks.
"Of course! I'll see you later Aria," she grins, giving me a quick wink before walking away in George's direction.
Lewis turns to stand in front of me, his eyes filled with urgency. "You need to tell me what has happened the past few days because I feel like I missed a couple of chapters?!" he claims and I throw my head back in laughter.
"Lewis you literally seen Charles and I at my US Open celebration?" I giggle, the look of shock still evident on his face.
"Yeah like, I knew you guys weren't fighting anymore and that there was something going on. But I had no idea that you guys were dating?!" he states.
"Well, now you know," I grin and his expression softens.
"I'm happy for you Aria. I can tell that you bring out the best in each other," he beams, placing his hand gently on my arm.
"Thanks Lewis," I say as my hand lands over his and he pulls me in for a hug. "Now let's go have fun."
I let the rhythm of the music take over my body for the rest of the night, my black silk dress flowing around me as I move. I dance with half of the grid and even with some people that I have never seen before in my life. Lando Norris even found himself on the DJ deck at one point, and ended up playing the best music of the night.
Carmen is twirling me around when Charles finds me, causing me to accidentally spin into him. Laughter escapes my mouth when I realise that it's him, wrapping my arms around him tiredly. "I'm sorry Leclerc," I chuckle, glancing over to see that Carmen is now happily dancing with George.
"It's fine Summers," he smiles warmly, his hands finding their way to my hips. "Want to head home soon?" he asks, beginning to sway with me to the music.
"I don't really feel like heading back to the yacht yet. I feel like it'll be cold," I reply, my face scrunching up at the thought of it. Charles chuckles slightly.
"Well, I was actually thinking that we could stay at my house tonight.." he says, and I can see the playfulness dancing in his eyes.
"Really? What about your family?" I inquire, feeling unprepared to meet any of them just yet.
"They're out of town for a few nights" he says lowly, causing a smile to creep onto my lips.
"All of a sudden, I really feel the need to go home," I smirk, my gaze traveling from his eyes to his lips.
"Then let me take you home Summers," he whispers.
We quickly say our goodbyes to everyone, knowing that we'll see most of them again soon. George thanks us both for coming, giving us each a big hug.
I roll the window down and let the air run itself through my hair on the drive home. Charles keeps his hand on my leg the entire way and every now and again, I lift it up and kiss it gently.
When we reach his house I gasp in awe. There is ivy running up the white walls and travelling around the windows. He brings me up a small set of steps that leads us to the front door. We are lucky that it's so late. Nobody is around to see or to bother us.
As soon as I step in through the door, I feel an overwhelming sense of warmth and home. Every bit of every room has its own personality, and I can almost feel the years of memories that has been gathered in this one place.
"It's so beautiful here Charles," I mention, as he stands behind me, placing a kiss on my shoulder.
"Just like you Summers," he whispers, kissing my neck this time.
A shiver runs down my spine at his touch, and I turn to face him, suddenly remembering why we had left the party in the first place.
"Can you show me your room?" I question, my mouth turning up slightly.
"I was just about to," he says, taking my hand in his and leading me up the stairs.
His room is just as welcoming as the rest of the house, a few of his trophies on the shelves, photos in frames scattered across the walls. The moonlight filters through the sheer curtains, casting a soft glow over the room as we stand facing each other, aching with desire. His fingertips graze my cheek, sending shivers down my spine once more.
"I want you Aria," he murmurs, his voice husky with longing.
I met his gaze, my eyes dark with want. "Then have me."
With a sense of hunger, he closes the distance between us, his lips crashing against mine in a desperate kiss. He pushes me up against the nearest wall, each movement fuelling the desperate desire that consumes us.
His hands roam over my body, exploring every curve, every inch of skin. I feel myself arch into his touch, craving more of him. He begins to trail kisses down my neck, softly biting at the sensitive skin, leaving a trail of fire in his wake.
"Charles," I moan softly, my fingers tangling in his hair as he trails lower, his lips leaving a hot, wet trail down my chest.
With trembling hands, he undoes the zip of my dress, and I quickly remove my straps. The fabric drops to the floor, revealing nothing but my bikini from earlier and my flushed skin beneath. He glances down at my body, as I watch his eyes travel over every inch of me.
"You're perfect Summers," he breathes, meeting my eyes once more. I can feel my face redden before he kisses me again.
In-between kisses, he slips his shirt over his head, my hands immediately roaming across his chest. Reaching down to the zipper of his jeans, I can feel him against my hand, earning a low groan from his mouth.
We desperately remove his jeans before moving toward the bed, never unlocking lips, both of us almost afraid to.
He pushes me onto the bed, smirking as he climbs over me.
"Let me finally take that bikini off for you," he says roughly, causing a soft moan to escape from my body. He removes everything swiftly, while also discarding of his boxers. I can't help but stare as he looks down at me eagerly.
"Like what you see?" he whispers, trailing a finger from my chest to my stomach. I nod slowly.
"Yes. A lot," I breathe, before grabbing the back of his neck and pulling him to me.
Our bodies meld together in a fevered embrace, skin against skin, heart against heart. Each touch, each caress sends waves of pleasure coursing through us, building the tension to a breaking point.
And then, with a gasp, we both tumble into ecstasy, lost in the blissful oblivion of each other's embrace.
"Fuck," I say, gasping for air as he rolls onto the bed next to me. We turn our heads to look at each other, both of us beaming with euphoria.
"I can't stress enough how long I've been wanting to do that," he admits, pulling me closer to him again.
"It was better than I ever could have imagined," I say, kissing him again briefly. We lie there for a while, peaceful in each others embrace.
"Let's get cleaned up before we fall asleep," he suggests and I nod in agreement. He kisses my forehead one last time before getting up from the bed.
