chapter 10:

Forgot put matthew on the hit list xD srry to the story!-

I got some odd note saying some odd stuff and that I needed to go to some house, so I'm on my way now... I walked past elends house and continued a bit faster. As soon as i got past his fence I heard a door open and close, I turned to see elend shut the door and rest his forehead against it, I felt a bit worried but put my hood on and continued walking. There's no way I'm gonna worry him. Just as I got far away enough I started to rush a bit faster towards the house, I don't know why I was in a hurry I just felt as if I should get there faster... I reached the old looking house and pulled out the note checking to see if I was at the right place.

Lilys pov

I was in the old house sitting there for the rest of them. Whoever them was. Someone suddenly slowly opened the front door before calling out, "hello?". "Over here!" I called back. "Lily? What on earth are you doing here?" Mathew walked a little ways over eying me. I held up the letter shakily. He frowned slightly then we both jerked our heads to the door again as a familiar voice quietly choked, "whoever sent this better kill me...". "What?...you want to die?" I asked in the same tone. Soon I learned it was elend as he let out a shocked and choked gasp. "W-what are y-y'all doing here!?". Again I held up the letter and plopped onto the old couch. "So you guys are them." I said in monotone voice my face blank and not showing any emotion. Mathew stayed silent looking at elends hooded face as elend nodded and murmured a 'I guess', "what is with the hoodie?" Mathew piped up walking towards elend. Just then the door opend again. "Who now?" I asked getting up. Luein and rote walked in and rote all most immediately rushed over to elend and mathew, "what are you doing here?" He turned elend to him, yet again elend hung his head low and stayed as quiet as a mouse, luein looked to me with no emotion. I looked away from him and sat back on the couch emotionless. "Be careful you might hurt him" mathew grouled slightly, placing a hand on elends shoulder, "does anyone know why we're here?" Luein asked sitting on a love seat near him. "Elend are you bleeding?" Mathew and rote said in Union. "Oh lord! Does no one read or watch the news!? Its the mad hatter no ones caught him. Hes a serial killer." I said in a monotone voice. I started shaking and looked at everyone. Then the door opened again. "Um can someone tell me why im here?" Miranda spoke up walking in with taner rose and crystal. Elend finally piped up, "I knew this, that's why I-I said.. What I said earlier", crystal looked around and shook slightly in her place. "Well were gonna die." I said getting up but stopped shortly when a deep voice spoke. "Everyones her? Correct. Well get in your partners." He said cackling evilly. My eyes grew wide and looked for a partner. Rote and mathew jerked at each of elends arms, crystal looked to Miranda and stuck to her side like a pupy as luein walked to me and rose ran to taner. "Look to each of the hallways they should have a numbers on them. Pick a number but choose carefully. You might just DIE of fun! Have fun my poppets." Then it got quiet again. I looked to see three hallways. "Well rote,elend, and Matthew are together crystal and Miranda and luein and I are together so ill let the group of three pick first." I said looking at them and gesturing to the hallways. mathew with elend and rote behind him hesitantly walked down the hall and picked the second door on the left. "Ok anyone wanna go next?" I asked looking at everyone including luein. Crystal whimpered quietly. Luein walked next to me and nodded saying, "we should go next...", I nodded. "You pick." I whispered to him. I looked at the rest of them. "Be safe..." and walked with luein to the one he chose.

Lueins pov

When we walked into the room lily and I knocked into a mirror. I stood back a bit to see our surroundings. All I could see was the mirrors infront of us. "a maze..." I muttered looking around then to lily. She looked at me but there was something in her eyes that I couldn't make out...fear? "Well lets get this over with..." she said taking a step with a shakey breath. I followed after her then bumped face first into one of the mirrors. "Ow.. Why the fuck is this?" He growled rubbing my nose. "Are you ok!?" She asked putting a hand on my shoulder and the other on my cheek. "Yeah.. I don't really understand why he picked us though" I said grabbing her hand and pulling her along, "Neither do I but he has to have a reason kill us right?" She asked shakily holding my hand a bit tighter. I rubbed my thumb over the top of her hand trying to sooth her a bit, "I'm not sure.. Killers have many reasons.." I said quietly taking a left with her. All of a sudden she stopped. "What's wrong?" I asked looking back at her. "Do you smell that?" She asked looking at me. ".. Yeah" I said sniffing slightly. "Is that....tea?" She asked turning away from me and looking between the mirrors. Just then we heard an ear peircing scream. Lily jumped and hugged me. I hugged back and darted my vision around, "wh-who was that!?" I whisper shouted, "I dont know." She said sobbing. I rubbed the back of her head and kneeled us down to our knees, "its okay, we'll be okay." I hummed to her. "A-are we n-next?" She choked out looking at the ground. I pulled her up and walked us a bit farther, "no we're not now c'mon" I ordered. She stayed quiet and obeyed. We soon came into view of a table with a tea party set up. There was a life sized doll, but it looked familiar. It had its back facing us so I couldn't tell. "Oh my god..." I heard lily say as she put her hands over her mouth and run to the doll. "No no no no no!" She said cupping the dolls face into her hands and crying on its shoulders. I walked over to see (Lol kk) rose... The mad hatter posed her as if she was drinking tea with a horrid smile carved into her cheeks.. "Oh my god.." I said pulling lily away and hugging her. She cried into my chest and shook her head repeating the word no over and over again. "Like my doll?" I heard the deep voice say. Lily stopped crying and looked to the table still in my arms. I looke towards the table as well seeing rose now standing and pointing to four different tea pots. Lily shakily got up and walked to the table. "Now my beautiful poppet if you and your boyfriend here pick the correct tea you'll survive. If you dont....well lets just say you'll be joining your friend." He said as roses body fell from place. Then we heard a male scream and the mad hatter laugh. Lily was shaking as I walked to her side. "What if we dont pick the right tea?" She asked keeping her focus on the tea's. I looked at the pots as my nose started to burn when I looked at the first pot on the right, "not the right one.." Murmured I, I leaned forward and looked at the next one and shook my head as the sent of blood flooded my nostrils, "not that one" I muttered. Lily reached for a pot with no scent, but before I could tell her not to she opened it. She didnt move her arm quick enough and a knife that was in the pot skimmed her. "Ah!" She yelped holding onto her bleeding arm. "Try again~" the mad hatter said amused. I sat her down and grabbed the knife using it to cut a stop of my shirt off, I quickly wrapped it around her arm as she gasped out in pain, "okay.." I muttered grabbing the last pot on the left knowing it was the right one. "Good choice." He said as a mirror opened up revealing an exit. Lily quietly whimpered and got up.
