The morning light streamed through the curtains, casting a gentle glow across the room as Taehyung emerged from his slumber.

His eyes fluttered open, and for a brief moment, he felt disoriented, as if the events of the previous night had been nothing more than a dream. But as the memories flooded back, his heart sank, and a heavy weight settled in the pit of his stomach.

He was alone.

This realization hit Taehyung like a punch to the gut, and he couldn't help but feel a twinge of guilt as he glanced at the empty space beside him where Jieun used to sleep. He had hurt her, betrayed her trust, and now she was gone because of him. He should have felt devastated, crushed by the loss of their relationship, but strangely, he didn't.

Instead, there was a sense of relief, a lightness in his chest that he couldn't quite explain. It wasn't that he didn't care for Jieun—he did deeply—but the truth was, their relationship had been crumbling long before the confrontation last night. He had been living a lie, pretending to be someone he wasn't, and now that the facade was finally crumbling, he felt strangely liberated.

But amidst the tumult of conflicting emotions, one thought stood out above all others—Jungkook.

As Taehyung lay in bed, his thoughts drifted back to their time together, to the moments they had shared, the laughter, the stolen glances, the electric spark that seemed to ignite whenever they were near each other. He couldn't deny the connection he felt with Jungkook, the way his heart raced when he was around, the way his touch sent shivers down his spine.

And yet, there was a part of him that was afraid of what these feelings meant, of the uncertainty and upheaval they brought into his life. He had spent so long trying to suppress his attraction to Jungkook, to ignore the longing that burned within him, but now it was impossible to deny.

Taehyung closed his eyes, sinking into his thoughts and allowing himself to fully embrace the complexity of his emotions. Yes, there was guilt and sorrow over the end of his relationship with Jieun, but there was also a glimmer of hope, a flicker of excitement at the prospect of what could be with Jungkook.

He had spent so long denying himself happiness, denying himself the chance to love and be loved in return. But now, as he lay in the quiet solitude of his apartment, he knew he could no longer ignore his feelings. He had to stay true to himself, to follow his heart wherever it may lead, even if that meant facing the unknown.

With a newfound sense of determination, Taehyung pushed back the covers and swung his legs out of bed, ready to face whatever the day may bring. Trying to ignore the pain deep inside. He didn't know what the future held, but one thing was certain—he was tired of hiding, tired of pretending to be someone he wasn't.
