Chapter ???: Trapped

{PART 1}

As SMG4 slowly regained consciousness, he found himself lying on a worn-out bed in an unfamiliar place. His vision was still blurry, and his head was throbbing with pain. Recalling the events from before he passed out, he remembered being abducted by a tall, mysterious figure with a rectangular-boxed head while he and his counterpart, SMG3, were investigating a peculiar USB they found in SMG4's box of belongings. As he struggled to get up from the bed, he scanned the room in search of any clues or signs of his companion's whereabouts. The room appeared to be old and abandoned, with peeling wallpaper and crumbling furniture. Despite his disorientation and confusion, SMG4 knew he had to stay alert and find a way out of this predicament. So, he exited into the hallway in search of clues.

As SMG4 walked the dark halls, he couldn't help but notice strange noises coming from one of the rooms. Approaching it cautiously, he realized that there was someone inside. He slowly opened the door to find SMG3 lying on the identical worn-out bed, struggling to get up. SMG4 rushed to his side and hugged him, expecting SMG3 to push him away. However, to his surprise, SMG3 hugged him back just as tightly, even squeezing him with all his might. SMG4 could feel the trembling of SMG3's hands as he held him close. After a few minutes of consulting each other, they finally let go, and SMG4 sat down next to SMG3.

"Are you alright, 3?" SMG4 asked as he looked at his partner with concern as he noticed black circles under his eyes. He wondered why he was acting like this at this time. As he studied his face, he could see that he appeared tired and run down, though before they were taken he was just fine. "You look too tired. You have eyebags."

"I... I-I saw-... I-" SMG3 stuttered, trying to spit out what he needed to say, but struggled to do so. His eyes were wide like he'd just witnessed somebody he loved being murdered.

"3? Are you okay?" SMG4 got more concerned about what was happening. What did he see? "SMG3? You're scaring me, stop it."

"I-I saw the guy-the guy who-" SMG3 still couldn't say what he wanted to. SMG4 was now majorly concerned that his partner had officially lost his mind. He tried and tried to get SMG3 to say what he wanted to say, but 3 couldn't say it. Finally, since SMG4 knew they were alone, he kissed his forehead in an attempt to calm him down.

"Just breathe," SMG4 said as though he hadn't just flustered the guy in front of him. Yet, his strategy did work, and he got SMG3 to calm down and say what he wanted to tell him. "Now, what did you want to tell me?"

SMG3 took a deep breath and started to speak. "I saw the guy who took us. He was a sinister figure, and had a TV for a head, and had this... creepy colorful smile before we were taken."

As SMG4 pondered his situation, he suddenly realized who he was talking about -- a sinister figure with a TV for a head and a creepy, colorful smile. Mr. Puzzles, the man who had been pressuring him to create a special video, constantly reminding him of his supposed imperfections and inadequacies.

SMG4 couldn't help but feel a growing sense of resentment towards Mr. Puzzles, knowing that he had been the root cause of his current predicament. But as he reflected on his situation, SMG4 couldn't help but wonder if he had brought this upon himself. Perhaps if he hadn't been so greedy and obsessed with creating the perfect video, he wouldn't have fallen under Mr. Puzzles' influence in the first place. He realized that he had been so focused on achieving perfection that he had lost sight of what truly mattered -- his friends and loved ones. And most of all, his love and boyfriend, SMG3. Only by banding together with his friends and loved ones could he hope to overcome the challenges he faced and emerge victorious.

"Glitchy? 4? SMG4!" SMG3 called. He looked even more worried than before. Oh, shoot. 3 was calling him.

"Uh, yeah 3?" SMG4 answered.
