Unexpected.

Chapter #8

My alarm woke me up at 7 am. I grunted for a couple of minutes and rubbed my eyes. I finally got up and turned my lights on. I walked to my bathroom and started doing my makeup.

I watched my face and brushed my teeth. I put some lotion on my face. I put on some powder to hide the dark circles under my eyes, and then I put on a little bit of blush. Once I finished that, I put some black eyeliner on my water line, and mascara. Finally, my lips. I just use some basic lip liner and clear lip gloss.

I pulled out my hair straightener and started heating it. Once it was finished heating up, I ran it over my hair. I finished my hair and walked back to my bedroom.

I went to my closet and picked out what I wanted to wear today, which I wanted to be lazy today, so I just put on some baggy grey sweatpants, and white cropped, v-neck shirt, and a plain grey jacket. I put on my black Converse and the gold neckless my mother gave me before she passed away, when I was 10.

I got my laptop and put it into my book bag. I walked down the stairs and saw Adian was already waiting for me. I have a car, but for some reason, we walk to, and from school.

Neither of us knows why, but it's peaceful so, doesn't matter. He threw his bag over his shoulder, and we started walking to school. We talked about how we hate most of our teachers, and how boring most of our classes are.

Once we made it to school, I took a deep breath and walked in. I hugged Adian, even though I had to force him to hug me back. I walked to my locker, Josh and Parker were already there waiting for me.

I hugged them both. I give everyone I know hugs and they just got used to it. "Hi bub, and Hi Josh!" I said smiling. They both said "hi" back, but they had a worried look on their faces. I knew something was going on, just not what was going on.

"You guys look like you saw a ghost, what's going on?" I asked laughing and joking around. they looked at each other like they were trying to decide who was going to say it. It was just a weird silence until Parker finally spoke up.

"Lily... It's Jayden." He said, with his voice kind of shaky. "W-what do you mean? What about Ja-him." My heart fell to the floor. I can barely even say his name. Why? Why are they talking about him? What is going on?

"Lily, he got released from prison today. He said he going to talk to the girl who pressed the charges and who put him in prison." Josh finished. Tears started running down my face. I don't know what to do. It hasn't even been 2 years, he was given 6 years. How the fuck did he get out. "W-what? N-n-no. No. He can't be. I-i can't do this again." I started full-on crying, and it got hard to breathe. It felt like there was no air left in the world.

Now I'm sitting on the ground, in front of my locker, with no air going to my lungs. "I-i need A-Adien." I managed to get out, with a shaky voice. Josh ran to find Adian and Parker stayed with me. About 10 minutes later, Adian and Josh ran over to where I and Parker were.
"Lily, hey it's okay. I'm here."

He said, I could tell he was worried, but he was also trying to stay calm for my sake. "Lily, you have got to breathe. Count backward for 10, okay?" He said. I just got worse and worse. Adian, Josh, and Parker looked scared because I had never had one this bad.

"Should we call her boys?" Josh said, Adian and Parker looked at him, then looked back at me like they were thinking about it.

"I mean, yes. I've never seen her like this. I don't know what else to do." Adian said, and Parker nodded. For a second my breathing slowed down, but then it got even harder to breathe. I'm grasping for air, and sobbing. I don't think I have ever felt fear like this.

"Lily, can we call them boys?" Adian asked me. I tried to get an answer, but it took a while. "L-liam. I-i need L-liam." I managed to breathe out. They nodded and grabbed my phone. They knew my passcode so they just called Liam as fast as they could. "Is this Liam?" I heard Parker say. Now, my eyesight is fully blurry, my mind just went mute.

"Uh yes, this is Liam? Who is this, and why do you have Lily's phone?" He said. "Don't worry about it. But come to Lily's school right now. She having a panic attack and it's the worst one we have ever seen. She asked for only you." Parker replied to him. "Oh shit, okay I'm on my way," Liam said, sounding worried. About 15-20 minutes later, Liam ran over to us and kneeled in front of me.

"Lily? What is going on? Breathe." He told me. "Bro, have you ever seen a panic attack? Part of the problem is that she cannot breathe." Josh said sounding pissed off. "No, no I haven't, Zayn is the only one out of us who has had a panic attack before." He told Josh, that Josh just shook his head and turned back to me.

"A-Adian, I think I'm going to pass-"

I blacked out before I could even finish my sentence.
