Because Eli left I also got to leave 20 minutes earlier. It shouldn't have surprised me that the first thing I did when I walked into the hotel room was to take a shower.
"Did you see her face? Like what a bitch. I'm sorry that they picked me to play that but well it really isn't my fault now is it?" That would be Sarah.
"Oh hi Daisy why are you already here?" How to I explain to them that I've been paired up with a boy without them losing their mind that I'm paired up with a boy. I'm already opening my mouth to start explaining but I get cut off.
"OH OH before we begin did you see that guy?" Whoever the guy is he has to be at least somewhat hot if he managed to get Libby's attention.
"The one that we saw when we walked passed the concert hall?" Never mind he got both of their attention.
"YES the one that played the guitar. Daisy you had to see him if he plays the guitar." What are the chances that they're talking about...
"He's like really tall and has like dirty blond beach waves and he wore a dark grey hoodie."...Eli. Apparently not very slim.
"Yeah about that. I'm actually paired up with him." And their eyes go wide. How do I get out of this conversation. And now they're high fiving.
"Look maybe we didn't set her up the universe helped us but that's a win." I'm confused.
"Daisy the universe literally told you here make him your boyfriend now don't fail the universe." Sometimes I ask myself if these two are crazy.

Dining hall was bigger than I thought it would be. They have enough food to feed the whole continent of Africa.
Me, Libby and Sarah sit by the giant windows overlooking hotel's garden.
"Look I don't know for you two but I'm in the mood for some after dinner fruit snack, do I bring anything to you two?" The food here is amazing and I'll be damned if I don't try their fruit.
"They had some great looking mango so could you bring me one?" So watermelon for me and mango for Sarah.
I had a plate with two slices of watermelon and two slices of mango and let's just say that my waitress skills aren't the best considering that I almost bumped into somebody.
"Shit. I'm so so sorry." I look up at the person that almost had my after dinner snack on their hoodie and it's of course non other then Eli.
"Watch where you're going love." The same smile as before on his face but his words have me almost dropping my plate.
"I thought you had a rehearsal going on?" From the corner of my eye I see Sarah and Libby looking in my direction and giggling. I'm glad that my clumsiness entertains them.
"I did but I also have to eat don't you think? It was nice seeing you love but I'll have to go you know I have a concert later tonight and I still need to eat but I'll see you later won't I?" The same fucking smile on his face and my watermelon in his hand. Wait. Did he just steal my watermelon? He should watch his back from now on.
——————————
I return to my table with a new slice of watermelon that Eli didn't steal.
"Did we see that correctly? Were you and mr. I'm about go walk the runway talking and smiling at each other?" Here we go.
"Yes Sarah we did cause he almost had your mango on his hoodie." That gets a laugh out of them.
"But really is nothing we're paired up we might as well be friendly you know." I had spent a total of fifteen minutes with him and they are already making stuff up. You just gotta love 'em.
