Strange noises

Viki sits in the living as they were all chilling by the fire place as a warm fire was burning as she sat deep in her thoughts.

"I can't be it's been 10 years" Tammy says holding her knees as wind blows soft outside as she stares into the flames.

"I feel sorry for her family"Viki says with guilt as she hugs her waist over the years she couldn't get lani's dead face or her crying parents out of her head.

Jake rolled his eyes with a huff" I don't cause what we did kept us out of jail"he says before a bang was heard making them jump as they look up at the ceiling where the noise came from.

"Something probably just fell over"Jake says shaking his head while the others share looks.

"Let's go check it out"Nick says as they all were shown walking up the stairs to the attic the stairs creaking underneath there feet as Jake pushes the door open with a creak many boxes were around even trunks coved in dust as spider webs were in the corners of the room with flashlights.

"They left everything"Tammy says as she looks around.

"They had to it hurt so much everything reminded them of there daughter "Sam says as he walks around carefully with a flashlight.

"I wonder what fell"Tammy asked as she looks around before seeing a box as it lays on its side with stuff spelt out everywhere"hey guys over here"she says before walking over as she kneels down as she picks up a broken picture frame of Lani and fer mother as a large crack was shown through lani's mother Sandra making the daughter and mother split as she stares at the picture feeling chills down her back she wasn't the only one as they stare at the picture

Later that night everyone was asleep as Viki was shown twisting and turning as she was having a nightmare about that night at the party before sitting up with a gasp breathing heavily.

"It's ok Viki it's just a nightmare"Viki says to her self as she runs a hand through her hair before freezing as she hears creaking out side of her door as a shadow was shown moving as she gets out of bed. She walks to the door slowly opening it but saw nothing making her confused.

She quickly grabs her phone as she turns on the flash light before looking back out side in the dark hall way she could have sworn someone was outside her door before shaking her head as she closed the door.

It was early that morning when she worked up and headed down stairs to the kitchen to make coffee as she runs a hand over her tired face she couldn't stop thinking about the strang noises she heard last night as she waits for the others to wake up before shivering feeling cold all of sudden.

"Jeezs it's cold"she says before she was shown opening the basement door with a flashlight in her hands as she walks down the old basement stairs as they creak before looking for the breaker as she finds it before opening the panel looking for the switch for the heat but was confused when it wasn't flipped.

"How"she starts of before jumping when scream was hard making her close the panel as she runs back up the steps slamming the door closed breathing hard before hearing foot steps down the stairs as the others run into the kitchen.

"What the hell Viki why did you scream"Sam asked breathing heavily.

"What I didn't scream guys"Viki says confused she thought one of them had screamed as she was still leaning against the door.
