It was friday night, basketball game, half of the Neptune was here, Joey, Aoife and Jules were at work. Mina tried to avoid Joey as she could to keep Aoife's pregnancy for her. The tensions at the apartment were more and more felt by everyone. Before the game, Nathan talked to Mina.
Nathan : hey are you okay ?
Mina : Me ? Yeah I'm okay why ?
Nathan : You've been a bit away lately
Mina : I had important homeworks, but don't worry I'm okay
Nathan : Okay if you need I'm here
Mina : I know, thank you she smiled
Nathan gave her a quick kiss and started to walk but heard Mina saying something
Mina : Hey 23 Nathan turned around call me she winked
Nathan laughed and both of them walked away
The game went by and the Ravens won again. And as usual, they all went to trick to celebrate. But while they were playing on the field, at trick tensions were felt in the room.
MEANWHILE AT TRICK
Joey, Aoife and Jules worked in silence which never happened. Doug came out of his apartment as usual to talk with the three of them.
Doug : Jeez, you talk a lot today
Jules : good to see you too Doug
Doug : are you all still mad at each other ?
Joey : I don't know ? Do they still want to hide something ?
Aoife sighed : Joey stop it
Joey : Aoife, you didn't talk to me for two weeks, what am I supposed to do ?
Aoife : Not be mad at Jules
Joey : Yeah well she doesn't want to help understand
Jule : Oh come on Joe-
Doug : The three of you, stop it ! You need to talk and arrange everything between you. You can't be mad at each other for eternity ! So stop being children, sit down and talk
Nobody moved. They just looked at each other
Doug : Now !
Boss : Thank you, I couldn't take it anymore
The three of them sat down. Aoife took a deep breath.
Aoife : alright, Joey, we need to talk seriously
Joey straightened in his chair and listened carefully
Aoife : If Jules didn't tell you anything it's because I asked her too
Joey : wh-
Aoife : Just let me finish please
Joey nodded
Aoife : Joey- I, I hum, I'm pregnant
Joey froze.
Aoife : and I- I think I wanna keep it
Joey didn't say anything, he just absorbed the words
Aoife : Joey say something please
Joey turned to Jules : You knew about it ? That's why you didn't tell me ?
Jule just nodded.
Joey : I'm gonna be a father ?
