Mina sighed and came to the doot.
Nathan : Hey Mina

Nathan : Can we talk ?
Mina : sure
They both stepped on the porch and sat on the stairs.
Nathan : I messed up, I'm sorry

Mina just nodded
Nathan : I shouldn't have let you alone the other night. I was just so angry I was selfish and I'm so sorry. I trust you with all my heart Mina. I really am sorry. I've been an ass.

Nathan giggled : I'm sorry

Mina laughed : right I'll just do that.
Meanwhile, in the house, the rest of the family were still doing their homeworks. Jules' phone buzzed.
Doug's doctor : Doug is in the hospital, just wanted to warn you, I know you're taking care of him.
Jules got up : I'll be back later
Jen : Where are you going ?
Jules : Gotta check on something at Doug's
She grabbed her stuff and opened the front door.

She stepped outside. And passed by Nathan and Mina.
Mina : Where are you going ?
Jules : Gotta go to Doug's

Jules left for the hospital.
THE HOSPITAL
Jules arrived running into the hospital. She went to the reception and asked for Doug. She went to his room.
Doug : Oh hey starfish
Jules : Hey Doug
Doug : How was your weekend ?
Jules sat on the chair next to Doug's bed.
Jules : It was alright. What about you ? Are they treating you well here ?
Doug : It's okay. I'm okay.
The nurse came in and checked everything with Doug.
Nurse : Alright, we got your CT scan results Doug. The doctor Will come and tell you everything.
Doug : My CT scan ?
Nurse : Yes, of your brain
Doug : Oh yes of course
The doctor came in and explained to Doug and Jules what was happening.
Doug : I don't understand all the scientific works. Jules can you translate please ?
Jules : Doug, you, you've got a tumour.
Doug : A tumour ?
Doctor : A brain tumour, but we have some treatments
Doug : Yeah but they are expensive
Jules : What are they ?
Doctor : Well chemotherapy
They talked about the solutions and decided that chemo was the best option. Before she left the hospital, Doug's nurse came to see her?
Nurse : Sorry, hum, I see here that you are his urgent contact, are you his granddaughter ?
Jules : hum, no, I- I'm just a friend of him
Nurse : oh- okay, hum does he have any family we can contact ?
Jules : hum not that I know off. I mean, his grandson wrote him a postcard, I can try to find his number
