Long ago, a princess named Nelana was walking through the magical forest of Glenaria. She was wearing a tight, short sleeved, pink, opal-studded dress and a small, gold crown to match. They were made just for the outdoors in the summertime. She, along with everybody else that day, pages, her mother, her father, her governess, her sisters, her brothers, the townspeople, soldiers, and even the stable boys were looking for her lost unicorn! Unia had been captured and escaped that very same day three years ago, when Nelana was 9 years old. But the good news was, Unia had been spotted! Everyone knew about where she was hiding.

Suddenly, Nelana saw her! Her lost unicorn was... trapped in a cage? Uggh! Well, at least she had the Glenisian bottle. Her father had given it to her in case Unia had gotten trapped. She unscrewed the cap and sprinkled the sparkly rainbow and jewel colored mixture over the cage as her father had taught her to do.

She waited, and waited...but then she tugged out her purple whistle, remembering what her father had told her, "If the Glenisian bottle doesn't work, blow this whistle, and we'll come immediately." So she blew it, and she waited. No Papa. So she pulled out her pink whistle, remembering what Papa had told her then, "If the purple one doesn't work, blow this one instead, and the right help will come."

So Nelana took a deep breath and blew the whistle. Suddenly, a burst of beautiful opal sparkles came out of the whistle and a fairy stepped out! Just by looking at her, you could tell she came from Opalana: opal dress, opal socks, opal slippers, an opal headband, an opal necklace, an opal wand, a little opal bag and she even had opals in her hair!

"Hi, my name's Makenna, what's yours?" asked Makenna.

"Nelana, are you here to help me get Unia out of the cage?" Nelana asked eagerly.

"Of course, now, let me see what you tried to use." When she was showed the bottle, Makenna laughed. "No, no," she laughed, "You need opal dust to get rid of that kind of trap."

So Makenna pulled a pouch of dust out of her bag and reached into it. After the dust was sprinkled, the cage disappeared. Unia was freed and Nelana thanked Makenna before riding her back home to the palace where they lived happily ever after.
