Katherine watched as Beth walked over to their mom's corpse, sobbing. "Hey, shh shh shh, wait." Rick tried to stop her but she brushed past and kneeled in front of her mom until the walker suddenly opened her eyes and reached for Beth who screamed in response "BETH!" Katherine yelled as she let go of Maggie and sprinted over to Beth, trying to pull her away along with Rick, Shane, and Glenn before T-Dog stepped in and kicked the walker in the head a few times before Andrea came over and stabbed the walker with a pickaxe. Katherine grabbed Beth and held her as Beth violently sobbed into her shoulder, a few tears forming in Katherine's eyes. Katherine, Beth, Patricia, Hershel, Jimmy, and Maggie then started walking back to the house, Shane following them. "We've been out, we've been looking for her in these woods and she was in there all along? You knew." Shane shouted "Leave us alone!" Katherine shouted back at Shane as Rick tried to grab Shane's arm and turn him around "Hey, Shane, just stop, man." Glenn spoke "Get your hands off me!" Shane yelled at Rick. "I--" Hershel couldn't form a sentence "You knew, and you kept it from us." Shane continued "I didn't know." Hershel spoke "That's bullshit, I think y'all knew." Shane accused "We didn't know!" Maggie yelled "Why was she there?!" Shane yelled "Your--Otis put those people in the barn. Maybe he found her and put her in there before he was killed." Hershel turned around to talk to Shane as Beth, Patricia, and Jimmy went inside.

"You expect me to believe that? Do I look like an idiot?" Shane raised his voice as Rick put his arm in front of Shane "Shane, hey, hey, hey." Rick spoke"I don't care what you believe!" Hershel yelled "Everybody just calm down!" Rick said as he stepped between Hershel and Shane "Get him off my land!" Hershel yelled "Please...no." Rick spoke"Let me tell you somethin'." Shane walked up to Hershel and got in his face as Katherine ran off the porch "Hey! Don't touch him!" she yelled as she slapped Shane across the face and pushed him away from Hershel "Haven't you done enough? You're insane." she spoke harshly as she looked at Shane "I mean it..off my land." Hershel said as Katherine walked past him, up the stairs, and inside the house. Glenn and Maggie had been talking in the dinner room while Beth and Katherine were doing dishes in the kitchen when Beth suddenly collapsed, taking the dishes on the drying rack down with her. "Beth!" Katherine gasped as she got on the floor next to Beth "Oh my god!" Maggie said as her and Glenn ran over. Katherine picked Beth up in her arms and brought her to the spare room.

"Sweetie can you hear me?" Katherine spoke as she laid Beth down on the bed and Lori rushed in "What's wrong with her?" Maggie asked "She might be in shock, where's Hershel?" Lori spoke "We can't find him anywhere." Glenn said, his arms crossed. "I'll go get Rick and Shane." Lori nodded and Katherine immediately stood up straight "No." she said sternly "I do not want Shane involved in any of this." she shook her head as she looked at Lori. "Katherine..." Lori spoke "Don't do that." Katherine shook her head "What good is Shane gonna do?" she asked "He can help find your father. I promise you. Just let me talk to him and Rick." Lori spoke and Katherine sighed. "I'm sure you'd love to talk to the two of them, hm?" Katherine crossed her arms and Lori's mouth slightly opened before she turned around and walked out, going to find Shane and Rick. "What was that about?" Glenn asked as he looked at Katherine who just shrugged and shook her head before looking back at Beth. A few minutes later, Lori came back with Rick and Shane who decided looking upstairs would be a good place to start. When they walked into Hershel's room, they found boxes of things all over the bed and Rick started going through them. "Your step-mother's things?" he asked "He was so sure she'd recover...they'd just pick up where they left off." Maggie spoke

"Looks like he found an old friend." Shane said, picking up an empty flask off of the dresser and tossing it to Rick. "That belonged to my grandfather." Katherine spoke as she walked over to Rick who handed her to flask "Gave it to dad when he died." she continued as she examined it. "I didn't take Hershel for a drinker." Rick spoke "No, he gave it up the day Maggie was born, he didn't even allow liquor in the house." Katherine spoke, walking back over to her sister "What's the bar in town?" Rick asked "Hatlin's. He practically lived there in his drinkin' days, didn't see him much until she was born." Katherine responded, pointing at Maggie. "Bettin' that's where I'll find him." Rick spoke, walking over to Katherine, Maggie, and Glenn "Yeah, I've seen the place, I'll take you." Glenn said "Alright, I'll get the truck." Rick nodded "I'll go with." Katherine spoke and Rick turned to look at her "N--no, it's not an easy run." Maggie stopped Katherine. "Hey, Maggie?" Rick spoke "I'll bring him back. C'mon." Rick motioned to Katherine and Glenn. "Mag, we'll be okay." Katherine told her sister as Lori, Rick, and Shane walked out of the room.

"Let's go." Rick said after a moment of talking to Lori and Shane. He walked outside followed by Glenn, Katherine, and Maggie. When Glenn and Maggie walked out, they had a quick kiss "Ew." Katherine replied as she walked by them "Shut up." Maggie gave a small chuckle which led Katherine to smile at her as she walked over to Rick, Glenn close behind. "You two ready?" Rick asked and Katherine nodded "Yeah." Glenn replied as the three of them got in the truck and started driving to the bar.
