N x Uzi [To the moon and back]

Chapter one- It's quiet.

Uzi was floating in the dark abyss of space while staring down at the broken world beneath her. She couldn't believe this was her fate, to forever be trapped in this dark prison that had no exit. She moved her arms to sort of give herself a hug, she was the only person that could comfort herself, she had saved N, but for what? To just be forgotten by the people she loved? To float away into the endless void of space? It felt like her sacrifice had no meaning. That absolute solver thing was still on Copper 09, and so was N. For all she knew, he could be dead and her sacrifice could've been useless. But it didn't matter. Nothing mattered in space. What was there to care about? Some rocks that are floating by? No. It's all worthless and stupid.

Just as she was about to into sleep mode in hopes of just staying like that forever, a rock hit the back of her head. When she turned around, her eyes went hollow. There, right before her was a ship so huge that she couldn't even see the whole thing. One of the doors opened, an airlock, a sort of beam like light that was a light shade of blue hit her and pulled her into the airlock. The doors shut behind her as she fell to the ground.

"Right, gravity." Uzi groaned as the door in front of her opened, a small robot that was basically a square with two dot eyes rolled into the airlock. She sat up and pulled away from it, confused and and uncomfortable. It examined her and quickly started trying to clean her shoes. "Hey watch it ya little creep!" She kicked it away which caused a mud stain to sit on its face, it panicked and desperately tried to clean itself off. She stood up and turned her attention to the open airlock door. She walked out it and looked around.

"Hello." A voice from the left of Uzi called out.

Uzi quickly turned her head and stared at whoever said that. It was a human? She seemed about 15-16 years old and was staring at Uzi.

"Sorry about the cleaning bot, he gets into people's personal space often." She smiled at Uzi who only glared back.

"Who are you? And why did you bring me inside you ship human?" Uzi began to question the girl, suspicious of her intentions and why she would save a random drone in space.

"I can tell you don't trust easy, no matter! I'm Lindsey. Lindsey Rose Peters. And you are?" She blinked at Uzi, genuinely curious.

"Why should I tell you? Human." Uzi backed up a few steps, after he last encounter with a 'human', she wasn't too sure to trust Lindsey.

"You don't have to, but it would be easier to know your name, rather than call you drone. And why I saved you? Why I like to take in drones and let them have a purpose working on the ship!" She smiled.

"A purpose?" Uzi raised an eyebrow and squinted at her.

"Yes! Most drones I've met don't have any directive or in other words, a purpose. So I give them one so they can have something they were meant to do!" Lindsey stepped towards Uzi.

"...Uzi."

"What?"

"My name. It's Uzi."

Lindsey smiled. "Nice to meet you Uzi!" She walked up to the drone.

Uzi took a step back but looked up at her. "So, what's um...my purpose?"

She smiled and grabbed Uzi's hand. "Just follow me!" She ran off with Uzi while the cleaning bot continued to try and clean the mud stain.

A little while later, Lindsey took Uzi into a room that had knifes everywhere. Uzi looked around in awe and giggled like maniac.

"We need a butcher! Someone you can actually take care of skinning the meat and chopping it up! You can throw the discarded parts that humans don't eat into the airlock so they won't be rotting around!" She grabbed a apron and handed it to Uzi. "Are you in?"

Uzi looked at the apron, then back at Lindsey. "I'm in."
