Security breach
"Is everyone here now?" Dracula asked, looking to his daughter. "I need to engage the lockdown doors to seal the Recreation center indefinitely."
Before Mavis could reply, she heard an outcry; Tony's. Rudolph was the first to react, rushing over to the two humans present, the brunette having the blond in a headlock as if to restrain him. The vampire switched positions with Adam, who easily gave up the blond in favor of rushing towards the Draculas.
"Seal the doors now, sir." Adam said with preamble, "Before Tony ends up doing something stupid."
Not completely understanding the situation, Dracula simply did what was asked. Tony continued to struggle, even with his legs dangling uselessly as Rudolph floated them back across the threshold. The hall started being sealed off from the rest of the hotel, along with the zombies still frozen in place. The blond grumbled as Rudolph placed him back on his own feet, glaring at the brunette. Rudolph, on the other hand, seemed to be making a visible effort not to breathe through his nose. Gregory raised a brow, before he smelled what his brother was possibly attempting to avoid smelling. If he was making the right assumptions, it was pheromones. And if they were Tony's, Gregory had to admit he felt rather proud with his brother doing what he can to accomplish restraint. And even more so when he realized that, for once, his little brother had listened to a lesson taught to him in regards to human secondary genders.
Who would've thought that a Zing connection was what it took for him to listen to his studies?
It was also fairly convenient that vampires could hold their breathes significantly longer than mortals.
"What the hell, dude!"
Adam held up his hands placatingly towards the blond, "I know you're upset, but it's not going to do anyone good if you tried approaching them." he pointed out, "For all you know, you would just unset the spell done to freeze them in place, you'd be a zombie too, and have to wait for dad's cure to get you back to normal."
Mavis whistled, and Dracula hummed, not bothering to mention that the spell wouldn't be broken unless he willed it to. He doubted it would do anything to help Tony's agitation.
"I can't just leave them like that!" Tony groused, stomping down hard with one foot. "You can't imagine how this feels; they're my parents, I have to do something!"
Adam continued his placating gesture, "I had to save my dad from a hair-obsessed psychopath, and while that's probably a different thing entirely, I get it dude." He promised, patting his fellow omega on the shoulder consolingly and giving his shoulder a light squeeze. "Dad's been working on a cure, along with his other project, for months now. I'm sure it will be ready soon."
"Okay," Tony sighed, attempting to take calming breathes and Rudolph started to breathe, tentatively, through his nose and gravitated towards the blond once more. "This is just... Crazy, you know? I mean, I left America a few days ago for summer vacation and they were, well, human. Now they're mindless, horrid-looking, zombies." At this second, a janitor Zombie was passing by, paused to grunt in complain before continuing on his way. "Er, sorry."
Dracula waved a dismissive hand, "He'll get over it. Trust me, without brains, they don't retain things for long anyway." He said, "And young Adam is right; Dr. Harrison has been working on it for a while."
"Yeah, it's not a bad idea to check if there's been significant progress, considering recent events." Mavis added, looking towards Tony empathetically, "Shall we drop in to check?"
Before anyone present could give a reply, another scream was heard. Or rather, it was more or less heard, as the scream was at a great distance from where the source was and where they were. In this case, Johnny and Tony didn't hear a thing. But the vampires did, plus Adam since he did have supernatural hearing as well. Though even he didn't quite understand why it seemed to concern him, till a name left Gregory's and Rudolph's lips shortly after they literally zoomed away.
"Anna!"
Dracula groaned, shaking his head, his arms gesturing from where the sealed zombies, to a torn part of a wallpaper surrounding them, then towards where the vampire brothers departed. "If it's not this thing, it's another, even though this thing still needs fixing..." he huffed, before transforming to a bat. "Let's move, quickly."
Mavis followed her father's lead, leaving the three humans to figure out how to catch up on their own. Which was really no problem for Adam, as he took off his nice shoes and followed the rest. Tony narrowed his eyes, looking towards Johnny. "I don't suppose you've got something that can help us keep up with the Supernaturals?"
"Chyeah, just hope you don't mind getting slobbered a little bit, little dude." Johnny shrugged, before cupping his hands near his mouth. "Oh, Tinkles!"
